1. (HOOK) If you love rom-com films, then you'll love this rom-com in book form. A girl teams up with her childhood enemy & neighbor to win over her dream prom date
2. (SOMETHING YOU'VE FOUND INTERESTING) The author uses witty dialogue between the main protagonist and her enemy that keeps me engaged and makes me wonder if there is something more than their dislike for one another. This book is starting to remind me of another book I love, Jenny Han's To All the Boys I've Loved Before

This book interests me because I know a lot about Greece and I read a lot about Greece but I want to know more about Rome, one of the greatest empires at the time.

So far the perspectives are from Mal, a 17 year old boy who is trying to find his brother who he hasn't talked to in years. And Laura a student that is getting ready for an important interview.
2. Both characters have different conflicts but they have a similar theme with changes.

The book portrays a girl who was born into a family of scientists but has a mysterious little brother, and 2 normal brothers and they are trying to figure out what happened to their dad.
2) What I found interesting about the book is that it is written in a graphic novel form and the author and illustrator hooks you in with using different kinds of illustrations in each panel. I also like how you never know what will happen, everyone is mysterious and you don't really know much about everything and everyone.
