The glass and cell sheet will be separated by using the Hot knife. There will be no impurities on the glass or cell sheet after separation. 

Therefore, it is possible to recycle by each materials, Aluminum frame, J-BOX, glass, and cell sheet.

The raison detre of the organization is to coordinate the environmentally sound management of electronic waste (e-waste) in Nigeria and like all other PROs to provide a level playing platform for Producers, Collectors, Recyclers and liaison with Regulators while implementing the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). EPRON is therefore responsible for facilitating product take back and making arrangements for the treatment of products as specified by the National EPR guideline.

We work with consumers and producers to ensure the safe management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) to our health and environment. Our stakeholders also include accredited recyclers and collection centers, who implement our incentives buyback/recovery and recycling program for consumers.
