The plan is student-centered so that all students have an equal opportunity no matter where they are in the state of Idaho. This plan has gone into effect this year and will hopefully accomplish its four goals by 2028. The four goals are educational system alignment, educational readiness, educational attainment, and workforce readiness. I think the strengths of the district would be the amount of opportunities and programs available to students. I remember being almost overwhelmed by all of the offerings when I entered the school. I also think that the special education services at the school district are very good based on what I have heard from peers. The school district has a shaky relationship with the community due to past Covid policies and a scandal over critical race theory. I think the district needs to be better with clearly stating their curriculum and policies to rebuild their relationship with the community. Also, I tried to find information on the number of employees in the district, standardized test scores, and race/ ethnicity of students but could not find them.
