This story was personification because worms do not really talk. But it is still important to save them because they help the earth. I remember seeing a worm on the sidewalk. I knew he was going to get stepped on so I took a stick and put him in the grass! I think that the moral of this story is to always care for outdoor animals. This is the moral because some people do not know how important worms are so they just step on them! So this story showed how it is important not to step on them! I really liked this story and I hope you did too!

I starts off with a worm that has a friend named spider. Worm tries to teach him how to dig but that did not go well for spider. Spider than teaches him how to walk upside down. NOPE! Than he goes on and explains some of his best and funniest days. But one day Spider and Worm had a fight. Spider accused worm for not having legs. But worm does not take it personal and makes a joke about it the next day. One day he forgot to back his lunch, so he ate his homework. Then he ate his paper that the teacher made him write. Also Worm makes a joke about his sister that was funny to spider but not to mom.

I think the moral of the story is that you can not change you! I think this way because spider called worm out. He realized that he cant change that and made that comment a joke. 

Also I think the moral of the story is that everybody is special. Even thought Worm had no legs he was still special! I think that this is the moral of this story because, in the story, it was about a diary that a worm wrote. It was about his life, and his life seemed pretty hard but he dealt with it. For example, he looked at the good side of things. He said, "Well at least I don't have to go to the dentist, and take a shower!" He looked at the good side of things. Spider told him that only cool people have legs, and for a second he actually believed that that was true. His life was still hard though. He still had to dig holes and go to school. Even when he forgot his lunch, he had to eat his himework. That is why I think that the moral of the story is life is hard even for something small like a worm.
   A connection that I have to this story was when I realized that something tiny had a hard life too! It was when I saw an ant. I thought that it was disgusting. But, my dad told me that ants really do work hard. They are tiny but they are tough. They have to carry food on their tiny little backs, and they walk a lot. He told me that even though ants are small they work very hard!
  A notice and note that I found in this story was a contrast and contradiction. It was when the worm was always had a good attitude except for one time. One time when spider told him that only cool people had legs. He believed spiders and had a bad attitude. This story is written as a worm's diary It explains each worm's day one day The worm ate his homework and had to write on a paper I will not eat my homework 10 times. Then he tried to walk upside down like a spider but that didn't turn out well.

 The worm also wrote down his struggles like how he has so much homework and how he has to find food every night. Somedays worm and spider have fights because of their differences. But they make up the next day.
