Lower income, lower insurance, worse healthcare, plus covid is a BIPOC crisis.The people who suffer most are people with underlying health conditions, which would be more black communities. Due to lower income, BIPOC communities are forced to  to buy and eat cheaper, less healthy food. This can lead to low blood sugar, obesity, and diabeties which increases covid risk. We can recruit more diverse doctors and people from racial minorites. It actually helps the patient to see someone their same race. They feel more calm and they can listen to advice better. We can also prevent “food deserts” where there are places in black communities who have low income, where they can only afford to buy cheap junk food to feed their families.
