She displays strong balance and coordination, confidently navigating beams, climbing structures and participating in a variety of movement activities. She confidently uses her fingers during playdough activities to pinch, poke, roll and break the dough, demonstrating strong hand strength. She can tear paper with control and is learning to cut along straight lines with scissors, requiring minimal assistance. She shows clear right-hand dominance and demonstrates growing precision and control in her movements. Her hand-eye coordination is evident as she picks up small objects using a pincer grip, threads beads onto a string and builds a 12-piece puzzle with ease. She also enjoys tracing lines, colouring neatly within boundaries and exploring other creative tasks such as drawing shapes, manipulating blocks and completing simple lacing and threading activities. Her confidence and skill in these tasks continue to grow, and her focus and care in completing fine motor activities are impressive. Excellent work!

She can identify and name numbers from 0 to 5 with growing confidence and enjoys matching numerals to their corresponding quantities during hands-on activities. She is beginning to grasp important mathematical concepts such as big and small, more and less, long and short, and heavy and light. She also enjoys sorting, grouping and comparing sets of objects, showing an early understanding of classification and order.
