There are 3 books in this series. Divergent Insurgent and Allegiant. The Divergent series is by Veronica Roth. Here is a quick summary of the series. In the Divergent series we are placed somewhere (which I will not tell you because it will be a spoiler) where there are 5 factions, Abnegation based on helping others. Dauntless the brave. Erudite the smarts. Candor, the honest. And Amity the Peaceful. Tris the main character is born Abnegation and then when you turn 16 you have the choosing ceremony but before that you have to take a test to give you a idea what you will choose. You almost always get one choice. If you get more than one you are called Divergent and if you are then you get caught you will die. Best series ever! The author of this series is named Eoin Colfer. These books are about Artemis discovering a race of fairies, Sprites, Centaurs, Goblins. You name it he found it. How? Artemis is a millionaire, genius, (12 years old), and above all, a criminal mastermind. See he finds these fairies, but they aren't like the bedtime story fairies like you know they are out to get the "Mudmen"(Humans). This book is by Rebecca Stead, author of When You Reach Me. The main characters are Safer, Candy, Georges, and Georges mother and father. Georges moves into a new apartment in Brooklyn, and feels upset and worried in his new environment. He misses his old house, but knows he cn't go back. Georges quickly develops a new friendship with Safer, a kid in the building. Candy is Safer's sister. Safer and Georges are opposites, but they share a strong friendship with each other. Safer and Georges go on many adventures together in their building, and eventually try to solve the mystery of Mr.X, a mysterious man on the fourth floor who only wears black.
