My 6th Grade students like to write about family, friends, pets, sports, vacations, One Direction, Minecraft, and favorite memories.

I like to write about my boys, memories of my mom and my childhood, things that inspire me, first times, last times, passions, shoes, and stories.

My students like to write about what is going on in their lives. Many students like to write about their sports teams, family life, time on the weekends and what they love to do! Many of my students like to write fiction. I like to write fiction and memoir pieces. My first book is a memoir and I plan to write a fiction book for my next book. I'm thinking about writing either a realistic fiction novel or a historical fiction mystery.

My students enjoy writing about topics of their choosing. I find it easier to get them to write in any genre if they have the opportunity to choose what topics within that genre they get to write about. When they choose they tend to write about the things in their life (families, pets, personal stories, etc)

I also prefer to write about things in my own life. If I have to do a lot of research, or explore a topic that I don't know about I find writing to be more stressful or troublesome. When I can use my own wisdom, experiences, and ideas to do my writing I find it much more enjoyable.

My students enjoy writing seed stories about themselves. They enjoy being in the story and telling it from within.

I like to write seed stories as well. I have so many memories from childhood on up that I like to tell but also write about in my journal.

My students like to write about a wide array of topics ranging from events in their personal lives from what they did on the weekend to sports they participate in to whatever is happening in their lives. I have several creative students who also enjoy poetry. I tend to model and write mostly about family, hunting, and sports.

Fourth graders seems to like to write mostly about themselves. Or quantum physics and molecular theory. I do not prefer to write, really.
