Occupying the 64th or the last seat for the partylist representatives, Gabriela Women’s party-list Rep. Sarah Elago takes oath to be the newest member of the House of Representatives, today, September 23.

Gabriela party-list was able to secure their seat after the disqualification of the Duterte Youth partylist since the commission en banc cancelled their registration due to its pending cases.

Elago will now join the Makabayan bloc together with its two representatives in Congress: ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio and Kabataan Rep. Renee Co.
