'SIMPLE future' kipinin işlevleri

'Simple future' kipi şu andan sonra bir zamanı belirtir, ve olayları veya kesinliği ifade eder. Bu durumda bir 'tutum' yoktur.


'Simple future' kipi şu durumlarda kullanılır:

  • Gelecekteki bir olayı tahmin etme:
    It will rain tomorrow.
  • 'I' veya 'We' ile, içten gelen bir kararı ifade etme:
    I'll pay for the tickets by credit card.
  • İsteklilik belirtme: I'll do the washing-up.
    He'll carry your bag for you.
  • Olumsuz biçimde, isteksizlik belirtme:
    The baby won't eat his soup.
    I won't leave until I've seen the manager!
  • Soru sorma biçiminde 'I' ile "shall" kullanarak bir teklifte bulunma:
    Shall I open the window?
  • Soru sorma biçiminde "shall" kullanarak bir öneride bulunma:
    Shall we go to the cinema tonight?
  • Soru sorma biçiminde 'I' ile "shall" kullanarak tavsiye veya talimat isteme:
    What shall I tell the boss about this money?
  • 'You' ile, emir verme:
    You will do exactly as I say.
  • Soru sorma biçiminde 'you' ile bir davette bulunma:
    Will you come to the dance with me?
    Will you marry me?
Not: Modern İngilizce'de will kullanma shall kullanmaya tercih edilir. 'Shall' esas olarak I ve we ile bir teklif veya öneri yapmak için, veya bir tavsiye istemek için kullanılır (aşağıdaki örneklere bakınız). 'Shall' diğer şahıslar ile (you, he, she, they) sadece edebi ve şiirsel durumlarda kullanılır, örneğin "With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, She shall have music wherever she goes."
