The Sensorimotor stage is when a baby is just born till they turn two years old. The baby during this time of cognitive develop is developing their sense such as touch and also developing object permanence. The video shows Nick holding a phone while Jacob sees the phone and then Nick hides the phone and confuses Jacob. The idea shows that babies during the age of 0-2 years old don't know the object still exists even when they cant see it anymore.

Beginning around age 2 and ends at 7, this stage is when children start to talk. they also begin to engage in symbolic play or pretending. children do not understand logic quite yet. In the video we use broken English to communicate as in this stage the language is just starting.

This stage starts at age 7 and continues to age 11. logical thought just starts to begin to form in the brain. this also serves as a very important transitional stage in development. In this video we work on a puzzle and demonstrate the logical thinking.

The Formal Operations stage is when someone is 11 years old and older. At this point in the stage people are able to start thinking more abstractly and more symbolically. The video shows Jacob teaching Nick how to do intense math. The idea of this video is to show that the older you are allows for you to understand more difficult concepts and ideas.
