He is always coming up with new ways to make money, often from just about anything, which leads to some of the best moments in the show. Even though he is obsessed with cash, he cares about his daughter, Pearl, which shows that he is not all about greed. He is clever, always thinking of new ideas, and his personality adds a lot to the show. I like how he is determined to succeed, but also has a soft side when it matters most.

Although he is just SpongeBob's pet, he is really smart and saved SpongeBob multiple times. He also acts like a pet cat or dog more than a snail. What makes him a weirder character is that he is Patrick's cousin. How on earth can a snail be a starfish's cousin?! Gary is clever, strange and a loyal pet that's why he is my favourite character.

My favorite character is sponge bob because he is the funniest character in my opinion. He always finds joy in the simplest things and always sees the best in everyone. He is kind, caring and like to help people, even if they got in a trouble. He never fails to make me laugh. Every time I watch it, I got back my childhood memories. Watching this film/series brings back feelings of comfort.
