According to the Speaker that Indonesia is a country that is very famous for its friendly and very friendly culture, Indonesian people will also really appreciate it when people from abroad are studying their language, culture, and even customs. Indonesians are also included in the majority of Muslims who are very caring, for that tourist who come to Indonesia do not worry if they are experiencing problems or obstacles on their way while in Indonesia. It's just that one of the drawbacks of the experience that has been experienced is that Indonesian people are very private, some of them are very difficult to share cell phone numbers, even just to ask how they are, because it may involve their respective privacy. but in fact I love Indonesian people and I really appreciate it.

I strongly agree with what the speaker said that Indonesian people are very well known for their friendly and very friendly nature, besides that they often help especially tourists who are in trouble without being selfless and not discriminating, but I do not agree with his opinion that Indonesia is less open to give a cell phone number, I think some people will do the same thing not to give a number to people they haven't known for a long time because maybe one of the reasons is against someone's privacy.

America is often made one of the countries that must be visited, but not everyone has the opportunity. Bullying and discrimination often occur only because of racial and ethnic background. Likewise with a Muslim, if they hear the word Muslim, maybe the stereotype that will come to their mind is the hijab, kebab, or even a terrorist. Discrimination that continues to happen to a muslim and other races will have negative impacts, one of the factors of discrimination maybe because of the views of someone who doesn't know whether the stereotype is true or not, they just conclude by following most people. Therefore, it is very important to know about religious, cultural or racial stereotypes, and hopefully there will be no more discrimination.

It can also be a solution to reduce the cycle of discrimination that often occurs.

Being black in the Philippines is often seen as a dirty, ugly, and poor person. The level of caste between whites and blacks that often occurs makes some people with black skin feel insecure and feel alienated, either from their family environment which is often used as a laughing stock. Whites have good priorities, they can be free to do careers like in tv and other jobs. But different from blacks, it is difficult to get a job, just because of their skin. In the end, many beauty products offer to peel pigment from black to white, but the product actually hurts them, and doesn't work. The informant said that you should appreciate your skin as it is, and prove it that you can do all your activities without being influenced by white people.

According to the speaker's experience, being fat and curvy in Korea is not a bad thing, they often invite her to just go out of the house and take her to run so that his body can become more ideal. For that being able to be yourself is very important as a key to strength, doing good activities will make you admire more, don't think about negative images that often appear, such as fat people will be ostracized or even often considered disgusting by most people. stop to think about what other people think, but how can you avoid those negative thoughts and always increase your self-confidence, and can do things that make you happy that will make you better.

This stereotype video come from the speaker's experience, where when the speaker tries to introduce his country, namely Mali, there are still many people who don't know where the country is, finally the speaker tries to tell about the geographical details, namely Africa, and the speakers then have to contribute to their misunderstanding about Africa is a a country and not a continent with 54 countries in it, so speakers say Mali is West Africa, but they think West Africa is a country because they heard about South Africa being a country, so finally the speaker gave as much detail as he could. From Mali a country in the western part of the African continent next to Senegal, but that doesn't help at all. The speaker also said to stay away from negative stereotypes about the African continent.

This stereotype describes how the speaker and her twin sister, who is also a woman, choose to prefer different colors, namely between pink and blue. The color is then in the spotlight because there is a significant difference, and the difference is more directed to the toys, when the blue colors that are often found are toys such as trucks and guns where the toys are more directed at men, while the pink parts are all dolls that lead to the character typical of women. The next stereotype is related to how twins are often considered as one unit, and are judged to always have something in common. The other most common stereotype relates to toys between girls and boys, where toys for girls are more about being good mothers or housekeepers such as vacuum cleaners which are often characterized for women and toothbrush or manicure covers for men.

Stereotypes that often happen to Asian people are one of the challenges that must be faced, this video raises stereotypes, one of which is based on the speaker's experience, the first stereotype is related to Asian people who are considered smart in mathematics, and according to the speaker that statement is very inaccurate. Next is the stereotype that describes Asians as looking the same, for example when the speaker attends a public school in Champaign-urbana where the speaker is the only Taiwanese child, but there is one girl where she is a mulatto Chinese-American and because of that the speaker gets questions like “is it you have a sister in eighth grade” just because speaker and her friend are from Taiwan, speaker said doesn't mean that we are similar and moreover definitely not a like. last The speaker said that instead of saying that, it's better to be able to respect each other.

According to the speaker that being black while she was living in Korea was very challenging and required strength to adjust. According to the speaker's experience, Korean people really believe in stereotypes where black people are often described as someone who can rap, sing, and dance. The speaker said that the factor that enabled them to believe in the stereotype was because they often saw how of black people are portrayed in the media or television, but that stereotype should depend on the person and not always like that. Next the speaker said that when you are a black person in Korea, the thing that feels the most is that you will be stared at all the way, the speaker said that it is very difficult to adjust, for example when want to travel here and there you will be the center of attention and be stared at all the way. And speaker also said that she likes to get racism.

Gender stereotypes between women and men have significant differences, this stereotype persists from time to time, one of the stereotypes in the characteristics that occur between women and men is where women must be gentle and men must be firm. Such perceptions make women more suitable to take on roles to teach or care and for men more suitable to be president or ceo. Given these stereotyped differences, speakers say that what you can do for yourself is make sure you don't discounting yourself for any role in society, don’t allow other people’s perception influence you and you can see that these are based in gender stereotype you should challenge them.

I really agree with what the speaker said that the stereotypes in gender that often occur are not a barrier to make yourself brave to take on the roles that we want and like. For example in taking a job role, where women can also take jobs that are dominated by men, for example being CEO or president, and never be influenced by gender stereotypes that often occur.

When listening, I really enjoy it because the pronunciation is easy to understand and the vocab is very familiar, but I have to repeat to play the video so I can understand and get the main idea. When playing the first video I tried not to use subtitles, but in the next video I used subtitles. And even with the speed, I reduced the speed of the video.

The problem when listening is that the speed is too fast, the accent is a little unusual to hear and affects the vocab, so that the vocab should know becomes a problem because of the difference in access. The solution to this is to watch videos repeatedly and activate subtitles and set YouTube settings so that can reduce the speed of the video.
