This is particularly prevalent in males with 50% experiencing panic attacks.<br><br>Fragile X associated tremor/ataxia syndrome can also develop in some individuals with FXS. It usually occurs around the age of 50, and worsens with age. It affects movement and cognition.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Fragile X syndrome is present from birth. Individuals with FXS generally have delayed speech and language that becomes obvious by the age of two. As they may not meet the regular developmental milestones, that may be when the disorder is identified (if it has not been identified at birth due to their distinctive face structure).<br><br>After puberty, males will also develop enlarge testicles. Around the age of 50, FXTAS (tremors and ataxia) may also develop.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is no cure for Fragile X syndrome however there are many therapies that can be used to support those living with this condition.<br><br>These include special education, medication to manage behavioural issues as well as early intervention.<br><br>Other symptoms of this condition such as vision and hearing issues, joint and ligament problems, seizures and heart problems are also treated as each individual requires.<br><br>Genetic testing is available for this disorder will be given prenatally if the mother is a known carrier to determine if their baby will have Fragile X syndrome.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ANGELMAN<br>Angelman syndrome is another genetic disorder that shares some if it's symptoms with Fragile X. It can also lead to delayed development, seizures (epilepsy), intellectual disability, delayed speech and ataxia and balance problems.<br><br>The largest difference in the phenotypic presentation of these two syndromes is the head shape of individuals effected. Individuals with FXS have large, elongated heads whilst Angelman syndrome often presents with a small head.<br><br>MEGALENCEPHALY</div><h1>Megalencephaly is a disorder which involves an enlarged brain that can cause mild to profound intellectual disability. Similarly to FXS is can cause low muscle tone, autism, seizures, developmental delays and vision problems.</h1>]]></description>
