Christine is a senior college student going through gender dysphoria. With the body of a female but the mental state of a male prefers going by he/him pronouns. With being the oldest of 4 children with the mother being socially supportive with the father believing it's a phase. Chris been dealing with this since a young age never really wondering why some stuff made them uncomfortable.

With his mother he feels confident and comfortable. With his father its more of a stand offish type of way with him because of there facial expression and there comments that they made during therapy. And the attitude that they give towards him.

Chris saw that his mothers facial expression was very accepting and more of a good emotional support. But on the other hand her father was more of not accepting her decision and did not think that he was going to alter his appearance. And he is honestly going by visually seeing there faces and hearing there responces.

Chris is a person who identifies as male and is most comfortable referring to his personal gender in masculine terms. Chris realized this in 1st and 2nd grade he would be uncomfortable going to the girls restroom. And he was introduced into a different perspective with his identity.

Chris being the oldest of 4 siblings he had a hard time connecting to his family since he started to get detached from his family trying to figure out why he felt uncomfortable going into the girls restroom.

HE started forming a attachment with his girl neighbor and his younger brothers. As he grew up him and his brothers started separating he started getting attachment issues not wanting to loss that connection with them.

Creativity is the person's ability to produce original, appropriate, and valuable ideas and/or solutions to problems. Psychologist J. P. Guilford (1967) believes creative thoughts are unique.

Christiana realized at the young age they were uncomfortable with female pronouns and representation. She thought of a creative solution for that changing her gender and going by "Morty."

Christine shows that she has been through Level one of the stages. Preconventional level is the first stage, and in this stage, she learned what she was interested in and what her parents want. During the second stage (Conventional Level) she learns that most people don't agree with her gender dysphoria and especially her parents. That is why she is so hesitant to tell them. The final stage (postconventional level) is when she matures and decides to tell her parents and face the consequences.

Chris's Physical development may be different from others because Chris feel more as if he wants to be a male than a female and does not feel very comfortable being a female. And with Physical Development its relates to the physical changes associated with puberty and exploration of his physical and sexual identity.

The Erikson's Theory relates to Physical development because it's the learning how to control ones bodily functions that leads to a feeling of control and sense of independence. It also relates to the case because Chris has already went through the stage where he has already went through puberty and his sexual identity.

Understanding of gender is a prerequisite to gender role development. between age 2-3, children acquire gender identity-their sense of being a male or female. According to Kohlberg, when children realized their gender is permanent, they are motivated to seek out same same-sex models and learn to act in ways considered appropriate for their gender.

Chris knows at a very young age he felt really uncomfortable to dress up in girls' clothes and use the woman's restroom. She prefers to play basketball with her brother and father that the more she grew the more she started to feel more wrong in her body. Then when she reached highschool she realized she felt more comfortable being a guy and dating girls she came out as Transgender.

Christine stages of development is she went through the Oral and Anal being a good kid getting personalities of friendliness and good personality, she did start to feel uncomfortable about the woman's bathroom as she grew more. Then in Phallic stage she started experimenting with her sexual preference kissing the neighbor girl next door playing boy sports and more boyish toys. She continued along when she reached Latency age, she continued on still being herself, when she reached the Genital level, she realized she wanted to be a boy and changed gender became the president of the freshman class and had good friends around her.

There are a lot of factors that makes Christine feel different from everyone else. This is because of social roles most people have an idea on what a group should do and act. Christine does not fallow the norm for a female and that is why she is hesitant to tell people. Her social identity is different from most female, so she finds a group of people that are like her, and this helps relieve stress.

This relates to Chris because he is very active and social with many people but his problem is when his thoughts was he was a man in a female body. Christine was born as a female and at a young age she knew she felt uncomfortable with her body and preferred to play with her brother and father playing basketball. As she grew up going through different stages of life, she kept feeling more and more uncomfortable till she realized she wanted to be a male, not a female. She had difficulties coming out to her parents scared of their reaction when he did there were two mixed reactions, mother being supportive while father not accepting it drawing away from them. While the father believed this was a phase she was going through with psychology, we realized that was not the case and at the age of Three kids will know what gender they want to be.
