Langavi shows a growing understanding of his body and can identify most of his body parts. He follows instructions confidently during games such as ‘Simon Says’. Langavi moves with energy and control, whether balancing on a line, jumping over small obstacles, or crawling through tunnels. His awareness of personal space is improving as he learns to move safely around cones when hitting the ball with a bat.

Fine Motor:

Langavi has made great progress in his creative activities, which help strengthen the small muscles in his hands and fingers. He explores finger painting with different colours and is improving his cutting skills, though he still needs some support to hold scissors correctly. He is developing control when colouring and is learning to hold his crayon correctly. Langavi also practises threading beads carefully.

With continued practice and play, his strength and coordination will keep developing.

Langavi confidently matches colours and shapes and knows most of them accurately. He can complete a three-piece puzzle independently and is developing the skills to complete a six-piece puzzle with practice. He is also recognising pictures on flashcards, particularly animals, which helps strengthen his memory and observation skills.

Langavi listens attentively to the sounds around him and can recognise familiar voices, especially when his friends call him. He participates happily in singing and dances enthusiastically to action songs. With continued practice, he will further strengthen his listening and sound recognition skills.

Langavi can confidently count from zero to five and is making very good progress. He participates eagerly in morning ring time lessons, joining in when we count from zero to twenty. He can count out five stickers and place them on his number worksheet with some assistance. Langavi is also showing great improvement in recognising most colours and shapes. He enjoys reciting number rhymes, such as ‘One, Two, Buckle My Shoe,’ with enthusiasm.
