The company organized four sessions of New Employer Orientation (NEO) split for the first and the second day for the interns and new employees.

We were brought around the company during a physical tour and met and greeted with every employee at each departments.

After that, i was brought to my department, Group Human Capital (GHC) and was shown to my desk.

My manager and my fellow co-workers (executives) were very warm welcoming.

One of executives walked me through every floor to familiarize me with every places in the building.

The manager of my GHC department called for a small briefing about the job scope that i will be assigned to.

I was given a walk through by an executive of their job tasks that is Agile based on situations.

Joined one of the NEOs by the SHE Group.

Joined the last NEO hosted by the Cybersecurity Group physically.

Also, took part in a motivational talk called 'Tingkatkan Prestasi Kurangkan Kontroversi'.

In the evening, i was brought by En. Hafiz Farhan to meet a contractor for the renovation of some rooms. He shared that, in renovation, a Bill of Quantity (BQ) is compulsory and must be detail as possible to ensure requested and actual items is tallied. He also elaborate the details in the BQ such as material, quantity, price and grand total. He also mentioned that the grand total is critical to be within budget with the Annual Management Plan (AMP). During his conversation, he was verifying those materials, prices and the measurements with the contractor.

I was asked by En Hafiz do some amendments on this MAP by replacing the papers. Before handing over the document to the assigned person. I was told to read and understand what the agreement conveys. I learnt on how a Management Paper looks like and the content involved such as Introduction, Objective, Justification & Approvals. I also understand that the approvals for the MAP depends on the Limit's of Authority (LOA) and Management Delegate Authority (MDA).

Later, i got sat in with En Ashraf and En Syafiq for a project. The project is to sell both of the company's cars and replace them with bikes. My first task was to contact the salesperson from Modenas and have him ready the quotations for two unit of bikes series Kriss.

As Tan Sri Syed Faisal signed, the agreement has been approved by everyone, and I handed it over to the Procurement Department for the future process.

I also was told to count on the bulbs that were burnt out and look for any leakages around since it was raining heavily as a major renovation in the premise was going on.

I was told by En. Shafiq to contact Carsome and MyTukar to sell both of the cars. I contacted and sent the roadtax to schedule an inspection by both of them.

We had an inspection from MyTukar on the car that we are selling.

En. Hafiz left me a task which was to update the data on the security services under the DRB - HICOM Group of Subsidiaries'.

We also had Raya Celebration among GHC later that day.

I was asked to join the career fair being held on the next couple days at PICC. Thus, we had a brief meeting on our job scopes.

Later that day, i had an inspection from Carsome on both of the cars which went around for 2 hours.

I had the opportunity to greet everyone that came to out booth, talk to them on the job vacancies that we offer, collect their resume/cv and bring them to talk to our recruiters if they have any questions on the job description.

2nd day of Career Fair at PICC

I had to attend even more people than yesterday due to the public holiday given to every employee.

Sat down with the Head of Group Human Capital for a brief meeting with a staff and an intern. He explained the mission, vision, objectives and the upcoming projects stacked for the company thoroughly.

Later that day in the afternoon i left the office with a MC due to sickness.

Sat down with En Ashraf and the contractors for a brief update on the refurbishment of the Wisma premise.

Continuing the task given by En Hafiz.

I was assigned En Nazrul to update the memo on Refurbishment Process every weekend.

Every Thursday I have to update progress pictures for the week and the upcoming activities in the memo and email it to the GSC for amendments.

I have gotten the amended memo from GSC and sent it to the PIC to be shared around to all tenants.

Sat down with GSHE for a meeting on the new safety measures.

Assisted En Hafiz to relocate a few cabinets.

I was assigned by Boss Ashraf Amir to propose an opposition letter on the increase of the assessment tax. I call the PIC clarified some question on the opposition form.

Did Refurbishment memo for this week and sent to GSC.

Assisted En Hafiz and Puan Shima to follow up on the Asset Declaration.

Received the Refurbishment Memo from GSC and blasted it to all staffs.

I was preparing to return the company's belongings to my supervisor.

Later, I went on a Farewell Lunch with my Admin Team.

Around 3.30 PM I met everyone for the last time and left Wisma DRB-HICOM
