I realise that the “dentist” was I’m a hurry but not in a hurry because he let elie go to “feel better” and to come back. And I think that if he was really needing it he would of just taken it. Elie was making excuses. A few days after they closed the dentist and thrown him into prison to be hanged. I was reminded of how he believed in god so much that he would fast for him and now I think he believes that gods not there to protect him/ help you.
