Physics reflective study 28/8/17

Today in class we had continued our study on the chapter “measurements and uncertainties” we had learned in detail about the topic uncertainties. Basically, can be put into words as a measurement can never be 100% accurate, it’s close to 100%, as in 99%, the remaining 1 % can be known as its uncertainty measure. Then we had conducted a class assignment of a presentation on the topic “Significant figures”. I had teamed up with our class teacher for the presentation. The teacher gave me an idea to do the presentation on an Important asset of significant figures, Zeros. I had made a five-point presentation about the importance of zeroes, and how to calculate the significant figures. After everyone’s presentation, our teacher had assigned a homework to write a reflective study on today’s class and dismissed the class. Overall was a good interactive session with everyone and I had a great time listening to everyone’s presentation

Physics Reflection

In the class on Tuesday I learnt about significant number and its rules.
Well the funds is crystal clear it goes somewhat like this.
1. Non-zero digits are always significant.
2. Any zeros between two significant digits are significant.
3. A final zero or trailing zeros in the decimal portion ONLY are significant.

We made a chart about significant figures and wrote what we knew about it.
we were split into teams and I was with Sanskruti. we made a mind map and
Included a lot of different rules. We had five rules in total and gave an example for each.

I really enjoyed the class because it was a pleasure to see people talk about a topic
That I did too but yet we had different perspectives towards understanding the fundas.
