My name is Frances Ward and I am very pleased to be working with you this quarter! Since you know my professional background from my initial Announcement, I wish to tell you a little bit about me personally.  I have three children and four step-children and a wonderful Belgian malinois dog named Zero.  When I am not working with you on our course, I may be walking on state forest trails with Zero, reading, knitting, or enjoying my family.  I really do love research and I enjoy communicating with you - so please do communicate with me throughout our course.  Enjoy your introductory course in research methods and biostatistics!  Frances Ward
