Me and my best friend were devastated when we found out that I had to move. Our parents decided to get us both phones so we could stay in touch. We have been friends since kindergarten and we're still really close to this day. Even though I knew I had family in Alabama I didn't want to move away from my friends. When I got to Alabama I ended up really liking it and I liked being with all of my family but I still missed my family and friends in Florida. I made new friends and got a lot closer with family that I hadn't known before then or that I hadn't seen since I was a baby. My last year there I got really close with my two best friends so when I found out that we had to move to New Jersey I obviously didn't want to go. Me and my friends spent all summer together and they helped me pack my stuff up. Saying goodbye to all of my friends and family there was one of the hardest things i've ever had to do and I miss them all so much but I will go back to visit them. When I got to New Jersey I wanted to hate it so much but it was actually really great (except for the cold of course). I had always wanted to be a cheerleader but I was always too nervous or just didn't think I could do it. However when I went to the freshman orientation there was a table set up for cheer and my mom and Coach Farina talked me into it because they needed more people and my mom thought it would be a good way for me to make new friends. I was really nervous but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I made some really great friends and a love for the sport.
