         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the mid 1800's, All races were speaking out about slavery.  Most started with protesting and causing Civil Disobedience around the United states. The North side of the United States decreased in the amount of slaves and by the 1800's slavery wasn't as popular as it was in the south. <br><br>Some of the main people that stop slavery and that help lead to M.L.K and others was William Lloyd garrison, a man that was a vocal abolitionist and publisher of The Liberator and formed a Anti- Slavery Society in 1833. Others were the Daughters of a slave owner Angelina and Sarah grimke gave lectures to the north about the south's slavery.</div>]]></description>

The women could not vote and if and when they get married the men now own what the women owned.  Two females went to the Anti- Slavery in london in 1840. while they were there the women had to sit in another spot to the men.<br><br>The two females, Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were mad. they started up the movement and wen around the united states and spreaded the word to men and women.</div>]]></description>
