Since sally is second the air will travel to the water to make the vibration. Finally it will travel to the brick wall since it is not like air where it travels fast.

The first one will be Juan and 2nd will be Mark and 3rd Sally.I know this because we looked how sound travels in air,water,solid.We put our ears in the table,then sound was quiet without us putting our ears in it but when we put our ears in the table it was loud.But we talk which makes vibrations in the air which the sound travels in air.Finally Sally would hear it last Because it will travel slow and we can't hear it good.

Mark will be the first one to hear it because if the are hitting they are making sound onto the brick wall then he could hear it straight through. The second one to hear it would be Juan because he is right in front of the brick wall that they are using so he would hear it second. The last person to hear it would be sally because she is in the water and she might be the farthest from the brick wall and she is in the water so then the water will block the sound that makes her be the last person

Juan would be first because sound travels in the air and U can defenitley hear it better than in water or on a brick wall.Second is Mark because the sound will bounce off the wall and he can hear it for example the pencil experiment where we banged the pencil against the table with someones ear on it.Third is Sally water can kinda sorta hear like that experiment we did with the water and spoons.That is how I know THE ORDER OF THINGS >3<

mark would be first it's the loudest then juan he is next loudest last sally becuse she made the quitest sound. i know this because if you hit a wall it vibrates but if you hit water the sound gets quiter but if you hit air there is no Nose or vibrates.

i think that the sound can travel far the order it goes from Juan sally and mark and because mark was hearing the gas the others were listening to water sally was and Juan was listening to the air.

Mark would hear it first because a solid would vibrate the sound more. Then Juan cuz you can only hear sound with air cuz air helps it vibrate. Sally would hear last cuz sound travels in water, but not as much.

A: 1st is Mark because sound can travel through a solid the best (according to an experiment), 2nd would be Juan because when you talk, the sound is traveling through air. Also when you say, "Finally some fresh air! :3" Finally, 3rd would be Sally because it takes a while to hear. For example, when you are underwater it takes a long time for the sound to reach you.

A : Juan would hear it first, because you hear people talk all day, and you hear them right away. Next I think you would hear Mark, because when we did the experiment when you hit the pencil on the table you heard it right away. Then when you put your head down on the table the sound echo's, so you don't hear it right away. Then last would be Sally, because when you hear sound underwater you hear it way after the sound really took place. For example when you hear someone calling your name when your underwater it takes a long time for you to hear it, because the vibration is bent or it just takes a long time to get to you underwater.

First would be Juan because you can hear sound more clearly through air and the vibration is better through air then a brick wall, and water. Second would be Mark because you can hear the vibration slightly less through a brick wall then air. Example: Miss McGilvray hit the brick wall on the outside of the classroom and we could hear her hitting the wall, just like hearing people talking in the hallway. Third would be Sally because it would make the vibration harder to travel through water and the sound would be harder to hear.

First would be Juan because he is listening to it in the air which means he can hear it more directly and better. The vibrations can just travel through the air without any objects to absorb the sounds. Next would be Sally because the water is an object that makes the sound go through and Sally wouldn't be able to hear it that well. Lastly would be Mark because a brick wall is really thick and Mark won't hear all of the sounds.
