The precambrian Era is the oldest of the four eras. The percentage of how much it took up in Earth's history is 88%. This era is seen with oceans of liquid rock, boiling sulfur and volcanoes. Asteroids also constantly made their way to Earth because of Earth's thin atmosphere back then. The temperature was extremely hot, but it starts to cool down during the next era.

In the paleozoic era, it was there for only 7% of the Earth's history. Plants and animals started to appear because of the water that appeared on the planet. You can even see planets growing in the water. The positions of the continents began to spread and it became three large masses called Anagra, Gondwannaland and Euroamerica. Unfortunately during the end of the era, there was a large mass extinction and it wiped that almost all the marine animals.

This era took up 4% of the Earth's history. In this era, dinosaurs appeared. Both plants and animals evolved and became bigger in this era. For example, heriboves grew bigger to reach plants and the carnivores grew bigger by eating the heriboves. There were a lot of volcanoes, mountains and the plants look bright and green. The continents parted again, and the new climates and environments appeared. Due to this reason, animals were forced to adapt the different environment; thus, they evolved.

This era is also known as the ice age. This era takes up 1% of Earth's history. The landforms started to become similar to our current landforms and it become divided up into 6 continents. In fact, the largest animals lived in this era. During the early period of the era, the climate was much warmer than it is today. Later in this period, rodents and small horse appeared and during the end of the era, dogs, cats and birds were everywhere. In addition, the forests began to thin down and grasses spread out over the plains of North America and savannas covered the land in the middle of the continent.
