When health issues that come with smoking are brought up, many feel that smoking should be controlled. However, when health factors are left out, many feel that smoking is a personal choice and is a right. A possible error is the fact that when reading the questions people were confused on what type of smoking we were asking about. Whether we were talking about cigarettes or marijuana. We asked two questions, both worded differently. Question one stated, "Should people of the age of 18 have the right to smoke?". Question two stated, "Since cigarettes are dangerous and have deadly side effects such as cancer, wouldn't you agree that smoking should be controlled to save the lives of many?". However, when wording the question differently and asking a different set of randomly selected subjects. We had found that the data is the complete opposite. (Chart 2)

To randomly select students, we used the Random Integer function on our calculator and choose 5 people three times for a total of 15 subjects for each group member (60 total)

30 subject were submitted a form with Question #1 and 30 subjects were submitted another form with Question # 2

In the end result, 25 people answered Question #1 and 25 answered Question #2
