Since the worksheet will be given to many different students, with different levels of motivation and pre-existing knowledge, a revision of it has to take place. The teacher must try his/her best, so that it becomes more engaging for most (if not all) students, taking into account all of their lacks and needs. The material is well-organised, with a complete set of exercises that help practicing many skills (vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension), but since it is a printable worksheet, it automatically “excludes” learners without high linguistic intelligence and visual learning style. Plus, since the class motivation is not the best possible, a text with this type of vocabulary level can be used, so that the students fully absorb it.

The specific worksheet has its focus on a visual learning style with mixed linguistic and interpersonal leading high intelligences. It is a very well organised worksheet which can be re-used in order to be adapted to a more efficient learnong process. In my opinion it should be differentiated with maybe the addition of a tactile learning style and a kinesthetic higher intelligence so as a more active interaction to exist and children have the ability to acquire more motivation and challenge for the EFL teaching for example perhaps by representing some kind of dialogue. The role of the teacher is definitely supportive, helping all students assisting all students to actively participate in the learning process as the motivation is describes in a quite low level.

The given worksheet is very organized: It contains the main text, True/False sentences, questions based on the passage, and grammar activities revolving around the use of past simple tense. However, it is quite monotonous since it is focused on visual learning, lacking all the other styles. Specific changes are necessary in order for this worksheet to be more appealing and better absorbed by the students, such as the use of auditory tasks/songs, group activities and question/answer activities among students that would encourage those who are not highly motivated. Also, turning the last activity into a pantomime game, would be very fun and effective for kinesthetic learners.

Konstantina Argyriou- Taking into account the different profiles of the students who will be given the worksheet, we can safely assume that the material will need to be altered to suit the students’ needs and interests. The structure of the material is well-organized but appeals mostly to students with linguistic intelligence and visual learning style. Thus, it should be adjusted to incorporate more types of learning styles, like auditory and kinesthetic, and intelligences, like bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal. As a result, students of mixed learning styles and intelligences can more actively engage in the learning process, as they will find the material interesting, leading to their motivation levels increasing.

This printable worksheet provides plenty of opportunities for students to practice the simple past tense in quite an organized manner. However, those exercises address only the linguistic and visual learners. In order to adjust its suitability for the two given classes and follow the differentiated instruction principle, changes are most definitely to be made. For example, switching up the class dynamics into group/pair work to complete the exercises, or having the students come up to the board to write example sentences of the past tense verb used and then act the sentences out. Evidently, kinesthetic and interpersonal learners would benefit from something like that and the acting-out part would increase fun and motivation.

This worksheet has its focus on visual learning style along with linguistic intelligence. I think it should be revised for various reasons. First, the instructions to the activities are very short and not stated clearly; the activities themselves can be effective for the lower level students in the mainstream Junior High School but might be kind of boring for the private sector Junior High school's students that are more motivated to learn. Moreover, the text and the activities have some grammatical and syntactical errors that need to be corrected. Lastly, The activities will not be effective for students of other learning styles and intelligences, so the activities need to be altered to become more engaging to them, too.
Georgia-Maria Epsimou

Respecting our students' different learning styles, their interests and types of intelligence, we have to make some changes on this questionnaire. First of all, although it is well planned and includes many excercises, the fact that it is printable entails that visual and linguistic learners are not satisfied. Furthermore, as this worksheet may seem monotonous to children, they could lose their interest and motivation. Chnges should be maade to get more attractive, such as visual material, tasks that demand cooperation etc. In general, this worksheet excludes many types of intellingence, thus it is an imperactive need to alter it by adding or differentiating activities, in order to meet students' needs and interests.

According to the Monitoring Questionnaire, one could allege that the given worksheet should be altered and adjusted according to the Ss' needs. Although the level is appropriate to that of the Ss, the worksheet does not take all the learning styles and intelligences into consideration, that is to say, that the visual learning style is slightly taken into account while the rest are not. Therefore, we should make alterations to address all of the Ss' needs and thus take the different intelligences into account. Turning the material into a digital one, that is adding a video to it, could be an interesting choice as it could appear more appealing and intriguing to the majority of the Ss. We could also give the Ss the opportunity to work on their own tale, that is creating writing, and have them present it to the class, or even use the PC, if provided, to group the Ss in order for them to create their own short story video based on their own ideas, that is create a different story with dialogues, narration etc, thereby working on both grammar, vocabulary and syntax.

It mostly appeals to students of a linguistic intelligence, so this is what perhaps makes it monotonous and mundane to students of other learning styles and intelligences. Also, I think that the font and spacing are quite problematic. The letters are too small and the text is too condensed, while there is not much space for the students' answers. It could work fine on the private school class mostly because the students already feel motivated to learn english. But, in the public school students would need something a bit more creative to motivate them.

It does not really assist students with different intelligences and learning styles, thus these kind of students might find it boring. For this reason, it is important to make some alternations in the structure and the content of the worksheet. Since the worksheet, as it is, doesn't include interactive and communicative activities, we could add a few more activities which would focus on peer collabroation and communication. Perhaps, we could include group or pair work and design a fun game focusing on Past Simple where students would practise their bodily-kinesthitic intelligence, making the lesson more interesting and the students more active and engaged.
Lastly, it would be better if the excercises were structured a bit differently on the page, because now there is not much free space for the students to make notes.

This particular work sheet must definitely be altered and certain major adjustments have to be made. The exercises presented in the work sheet are only suitable for learners that are adept in linguistic and visual types of work, essentially excluding other students that don't share the same types of intelligences and interests. Moreover, both of these classes have fundamental differences in terms of motivation in participating in the learning process, so that should certainly be addressed as well. In my opinion other types of intelligences should be introduced as well, such as bodily-kinesthetic or musical ones, by either adding a song or some kind of pair-work collaboration activity. Interaction activities are always effective in helping us achieve the main goal of the lesson, while being fun and engaging for learners. Since we are talking about an A2 class level, these types of activities are suitable to be implemented in such a process. The activities would help learners become more active and definitely more motivated to participate and experiment in the learning process, thus helping us achieve the main goal.

For this reason, this worksheet needs adjustments in order to be suitable for other learners as well. The language used is also also quite difficult and considering the low class motivation in the 1st class , we can assume that this will make it more difficult for students' to participate and become interested in the lesson.

This worksheet is aimed at visual learners with high language intelligences. While it provides the students with activities that will help them improve their grasp on the regular verbs in the past simple and their reading skills as well, it might seem difficult to complete to students with a lower language level and boring to students that are not motivated to learn English. This worksheet needs to be altered to include pair/group work which will present students with socialization opportunities and more game-like activities that make the learning process more interractive and fun.

The worksheet needs to be modified because its learning style is mostly visual linguistic. The activities about past simple are clearly stated but they are suitable mostly for linguistically intelligent students. There should be auditory, mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic or even tactile intelligence activities, so all students are included. There are no oral or activities which promote cooperation, which is a major fault in the worksheet.

It has now been established that extra materials should aim to maximize students' comprehension and cater to their needs individually. This worksheet focuses only on visual learners and linguistic intelligence. Through its learning outcomes are relatively clear, it does not motivate the vast majority of the classroom. This would mean that especially students from the mainstream junior high school would be almost completely disengaged. For this reason, it is crucial that major changes are made and auditory, spatial and communicative tasks are added to the worksheet.
