I would like to do more peer feedback/sharing/editing to support them in understanding their next steps. Work around helping them build success criteria would also be helpful as they build their way into middle school.

I would like to provide students with more opportunities to regularly self assess their work. This means I need to be co-constructing the SC with them so they are clear and have ownership over the learning.

To continue to get students to lead their own learning, make decisions on what they need to do to reach their goals, reflect on their next steps, and read feedback from previous work in their books so they can act on it (that's more a +4, soz!)

I would like to use the goal tabs in our writing books and get students to pick 3-4 writing goals they are working on. Try not to look at genre goals but writing structure and and surface features. Reflect on these at the beginning/end of each writing session. Use as part of their SC.

My takeaway is to use feedback in reciprocal Reading groups. Capturing conversations from students in these groups by using audio or recording sheets and providing the opportunity to give feedback.
