The most character I like is Gaby. She is so brave and intelligent. She is so funny, and helpful for everyone in the TV series: give a bottle of water to Paul, so worried about him and for this reason, she picks him up to the office, she speaks with Alice about everything, trying to help her; and with Liz, the neighbour, and she always wants stupid things, like the rock, it was so comical.

Jonathan Pine is the main character. He was working in a hotel in Cairo, when he is the witness of the murder of a defenceless woman, who was Roper's lover (the bad guy). She asks him for help, involving him to stop an operation of guns trade, but he can't carry through it. Once that happens, and some months later, while he is working in a hotel in Switzerland, he coincidentally meets Roper there. The MI6 (UK's exterior secret service) knows about it and Angela Burr (responsible for the Enforcement Agency, the team trying to catch Roper), recruits him to go undercover inside Roper's organization, given Pine's experience as a former combatant in Irak's War in 2003. Using his powerful spell, he manages to escalate as the best man for Roper. He acts as his figurehead to close a guns deal. However, in the end (spoiler coming up), after many trips, big-fishes's involvement from the American and British intelligence agencies and Roper's suspicions, he is successful in taking down the illegal arms smuggling network.

Ms. Flowers, Edie Flowers is from my point of view the principal character who flight against the bad guys. I like her the most because of her perseverance and meticulousness trying to save thousands of people's lives even when they didn't know them in person. She made of this cause her own cause.
