Ethnographic research resulted in a collaborative university-community project. We created an oral history curriculum, produced a video documentary, and held a symposium and public screening.     As Director of High Jump from January 1998-July 1999, I had the great joy of contributing to its impact in the following ways:
    -  Served to holistically develop 80 students in collaboration with parents, teachers, colleagues, and community partners.
    -  Co-designed an interdisciplinary curriculum with teachers.
    - Designed and initiated the course, Issues & Ideas. 
    - Initiated multicultural awareness, holistic development, and diversity inclusion activities for teacher, student, and parent development.
    - Proposed and developed an alumni mentorship program.
