But you would feel upset if we do not achieve the goal. Now we can avoid the trap by the ancient Stoics, which can bring a new ways of thinking. Here are three points that could help you to have a different thinking.

Firstly, you could try your best to achieve your goals, but do not too focused on the consequences that out of control.

Moving on to next point, you should concentrate on the skills you can practice in fulfilling your ambitions instead of the results.

Lastly, you need to develop a good mindset and value your inner self more than your outer self.

The health and success of worker depends on the correalation between sleep and behavior related to jobs. But more important is the intercommunication between sleep pattens and organizational behavior. We should focus on the role of circadian rhythms in sleep and sleepiness of workplace, which also can offer essential environment for human resource.

Introduction

Sleep affects many aspects of performance of an employee, especially in fast-paced and stressful environments. The pessimistic effect on continuing health and organizational behavior are caused by lack of sleep and poor sleep quality.Circadian rhythms affect sleep cycles and daytime performance. Environments that require considerable work can cause weak sleep quality as well as health issues. The consideration of uman resource including employee productivity, safety and health.

Sleep and Circadian rhythums

Sleep is made up of quality and quantity, but when it comes to influence on day-to-day activities, both parts are equally essential. The quality s better than quantity when considering the workload and stress of the employee. The reason for poor sleep quality is social problems in the workplace, while work timetable can lead to a decrease in the amount of sleep. If you are sleeping disorder, the quality and quantity of your sleep is declining. Weak sleep quality and lack of sleep can both develop your sleepiness, which can bring pessimistic influence your attainment of your work.

Circadian rhythums and sleep-wake cycle is interaction.Circadian rhythms are physiological and behavioral cycle that occurs in about 24hours. we want to sleep partly because of our physiological needs and partly because of our circadian rhythms.so circadian rhythms act like internal clocks and affect by light, diet and exercise. So if a job require you to change your regular routine,it may cause health problems.Because sharp change in the amount of light and temperature can affect the sleep and performance of polar workers, it can also lead to seasonal affective disorder and periods of depression .

Guest Lecture (sleep

First of all, the writer told us what is sleep? The Cotterll’s definition for sleep is a natural, reversible, periodic state in which one loses wakefulness and consciousness. The sleep effects by two pressures — the drive to sleep and the drive to be awake, which is influenced by circadian rhythm also called body clock. Secondly, he explains what will happen when we sleep. Sleep can be divided into two types, Non-REm(80% of our sleep), which can last for four cycles of 90 minutes, and REM sleep is the last cycle. Our brain is active when we are sleeping, that is the reason why we would dream.

Moreover, he also figures out the benefits of sleep. There is too much information during the day, sleep can allow the brain to organize information and discard inessential information. This can help us get better academic performance by improving our muscle memory, having bigger and stronger muscles.

Finally, Cotterell also provides some suggestions to improve our sleep. We should avoid using drugs instead of exercising regularly. Avoiding screen time before going to bed and keep dark in the bedroom. He concludes that It is very vital for us to get enough sleep because sleep is essential for people.

Guest lecture (Culture)

Samuel Huntington divided culture religion from a book called Clash of Civilization, for example, western country (Australia)is blue.He also made generalizations about these two culture.
Then he discusses the differences between Chinese culture and Western culture from many aspects. The lifestyle(Western people are more individualistic whereas Asian people are more collective)and how to express yourself(Western culture would be more direct whereas Asian would be less direct). There are other aspects like punctuality ,queuing and relationships.
Secondly,he also discussed the differences between Chinese and Western older people, The former are taking care of the grandson,The latter are walking dog. Moreover ,western people are focus more on the object, whereas Asian focus on environment.

Thirdly, he talked about Plato,Aristotle,Lao Tuzla and Confucius.Aristotle is the beginning of science and the beginnings of formalized logic. As for Chinese culture, he said:”the truest yang is the yang that is i the yin”. But it cannot have two things at the same time, although there is a strong argument relationships and how people interact with each other, individual is more important.

It is also essential to notice that memory varies from person and the transformation of the short-term memory and long- term memory.

Short-term memory also named working memory. Different people have different memory abilities, which will determine their studying style. For instance, certain people are better at processing verbal, or spoken information, whereas others are good at treating visual information.

Compared with the short-term memory, long-term memory is the function by which can be divided into episodic and semantic categories. The former must have been experienced, such as childhood holidays, while the latter is a general knowledge of things, combining common sense of personal and the conception of things.

There are two ways to convert short-term memory into long-term memory. Rehearsal, one of them, is often known as repetition, such as actor practicing a drama. In this legal society, no matter for what purpose to break the law will be punished, which is fair to everyone. Orphanage with financial difficulties can be solved in a variety of ways rather than breaking the law. For example, ask for help from the government or raise funds from philanthropic foundation. If everyone commits crimes for the purpose of helping others, the society would not function well.

In common law ,not only the government can make laws, judge also has the right to make laws. The common law is that two people who have arguments and then solve the problems. These problems all come from our everyday life. Compared with common law, the civil law system of European make law to solve all problems and write all laws in one goal in day one.

Judge create legal principles also called ratio decidendi. The process of making laws is to solve practical problems in life. If the same thing happens ,they should follow the previous legal principles. If something completely different happens, They need to create new ratio decidendi. In terms of creating all the laws on the same day, the common law of system is very practical.

To prevent one person from having too many powers from abusing and becoming a bad person, the UK divides powers into three parts - Government,Judges and Parliament.
The parliament including the commons ,the lords and the Monarch.

We choose to creat a short, which can record our whole day.Compared to a traditional short film, we probably do not have much plot. There are many aspects we need to consider, for example, budget, time, postproduction, tools, content and shooting style. This film would include four people.

The similarities between the two things is that pre-production in process in making animation like the outline when we prepare to write our essay. Secondly, storyline likes a mind map in our paper. Thirdly, metaphor can also be used in writing.

I agree with the article that the factors contributing to the popularity of the film should include arrangement of the film, comments on films, using award-winning actors.
Moreover, I suppose the publicity and content of the film are also essential for movies.
I think most of the popular movies are good movies, because they reflect the social reality to large extent and can arouse people’s resonance. He can help you understand the trouble well. Orwell’s politics are complicated by his journalistic writing style. We do not know his true politics because his writing style. His views must be understood in their historical context and his “stereotypes” view of English people and culture is still useful today.

Orwell has a very lonely childhood and developed disagreeable mannerisms. Writhing can help him even express his ideas. He read lots of books, but he did not do the coursework, which is the reason why he cannot go to the university. Then he went Paris and wrote about the poverty.

There was a hard time for Orwell in 1930. Then he became a socialist when he volunteered to fight in the Spanish Civil War. He started writing with “some lie he wants to expose”, which was shown in animal farm in 1984. The most famous books of him were both political and well-written.

Orwell’s thinking about Englishness is the English are not intellectual and private, which can explain modern British politics.

Orwell had a great effect on the British. The specific work “Orwellian” is still meaningful and control by the government.

The reason why why should communication is that we should exchange information to each other and know others’ thinking. The key to getting successful communications is to provide necessary information and listen carefully to others. Communication varies from species to species, such as human to human, animal to human communication. The first important factories in communication is to understand what the other person is saying, in other words, they need to speak same language. Secondly, you have to get a fully understanding of the content of the conversation.

Some interesting finding in my major:
You'll develop business awareness and explore the history of organisations, their environments, and the ways in which both have changed. You'll examine how digital information communications technology (ICT) is managed, and learn to identify and analyse the key innovations made possible by new media. You will investigate new methods of digital data analysis and explore the opportunities and challenges presented by the availability of these new data forms.
The Social Media and Management course is taught by experts from both the Department of Sociology and the York Management School, combining experience from the forefront of sociological and business research.

Some of the skills that are called soft skills are actually very important, such as communication skills, observation skills and logical think. Young people should constantly improve basic skills to meet the requirements of the job, like critical thinking, coordination, social perceptiveness, active listening and complex problem-solving. People also need to have higher levels of positive personal qualities such as empathy, tolerance for ambiguity, wisdom, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and visual-spatial skill at the same time.
