This message is probably going to be long, as I'm going to go through each one and give my thoughts on it.

Well Rounded Education - I think this, like many of the other core values, is actually executed very well in this school. The different sets of classes gives us a good variety of learning. It balances out basic classes, such as math and science, along with some personal interests, like choosing your own language, and music class. The classes have only gotten better as time has gone on, with the inclusion of Choir, being able to choose which language you want to learn at an earlier grade, and other choices. Along with many different A.S.A. is gives a very well rounded and personal experience.

Safe Learning Environment - I think A.I.S.L. overall has a relatively safe learning environment, most people do roast and/or tease, but only very rarely does it cross the line to bullying, I think some people always take it too far, or do not even participate, and those people do not usually get punished for it. Some people get away with lots of things, because if you tell you would be branded as a snitch and "not cool". I feel like this should be touched upon, as people get bullied and lot of times the bullies don't get punished because people do not want to be a snitch. Though this has gone down over the years, it still hasn't fully disappeared.

Individuality - I think that there are a number of different activities that allow this to happen. The International Day, along with a number of different choices, allows this to flourish. I think A.I.S.L. does this very well.

Life-Long Learning and Learning Happens in an Authentic and Meaningful Context - I believe these two tie into each other. As they build the foundation for your life. I think there are lots of things that we learn that we will not need in Life unless we are a specific profession. Another thing is I think that the school should offer some class like Home Economics for High Schoolers (If they don't already). This class would teach you how to do things that you absolutely need later in life, for example, it could teach what to do with your earnings, or how to apply for a job. This should be a High School class, and maybe even only for juniors and seniors.

Diversity Of Learners and Internationalism - I think that this is done well, but could still be improved upon. During International Day, we mostly just celebrate the food, and watch the Parade. That doesn't teach us much about the country, and while I think A.I.S.L. has started to take a step in the right direction towards this with the Show and Tell, I believe it could be further expanded upon. An idea for how this could be further expanded, is by adding a more miniature version of International Day in the first semester. This could be more directed towards learning about the different cultures, and it could may not have to last the whole day.

Collaboration Accelerates Learning and Learning is Social - I think this is one of the things A.I.S.L. does very well. Whenever there is a project, the first thing I usually hear asked is, can we work in groups, and when people do get to work in groups, the projects turn out a lot better, and the people are much happier. Working with others help bounce ideas of one another, and I think A.I.S.L. does a really god job balancing this with individual assignments. The one bad thing I can say about this is sometimes it doesn't work out. Most of the time, two or more "Troublemakers" get in a group together, and that can bring down the whole project.

Innovation - I feel like a lot of the times the Guidelines are a bit too strict with this. Lots of students don't get to use their creative energy because the rubric says you have to follow exactly what is on the rubric or else you will get an approaching. I feel that, if the rubrics and teachers were more flexible, then a lot of more students would be able to show their identity.

Service to Others - I think that this area could be improved upon greatly. In my mind there are only a few Service groups - N(J)HS, Service Learning, and the High School Things like MUN(?). For NJHS and other leadership service groups, I feel like very few people want to do it, or even try out for it. For Service Learning, I know very few people that enjoyed that class, mostly everybody (myself included), thought it was a drag and did not like it. I think that there is one outstanding problem between all these things. I believe that problem is the way they are taught and presented. NJHS and Service Learning were presented to us with a very non-likeable approach. For Example, when talking about Service Learning, they took us out of advisory, one of the most fun times of the week for people, and had us do a worksheet like thing. After that, the way Service Learning was taught made it boring. I feel as if there was very little effort put in to make it exciting, but instead it felt like an extra class, minus everything fun. I think this ties into one of the few weaknesses of the school, which is communication. I feel that either A: The dislike for Service Learning had not come through, or B: The school did not act on it. I feel like if these things were presented and taught in a way that appealed to kids, a lot more people would be interested, as it is a cool topic.

Learning Is Personal - I think this ties into some things already mentioned, but once again I feel they do this very well. I have already mentioned the wide range of classes, which helps to develop one's identity. One thing though, that I think could be improved, is the challenge level. There are a lot of smart kids at this school, and most do not feel challenge, they feel as if the cruise right through classes, because they already know everything that's happening. This is made worse by students who do not do the homework and are labeled as "Troublemakers" who always keep the class behind and have to get things repeated for them. I feel as if having Advanced classes, maybe not for all classes but for some, would be really helpful. Spanish is a prime example of this, as the native speakers, and kids who have done Spanish for a long time or just understand Spanish, go through the same words every year because we have to restart for the new kids, and repeat everything for the people who do not understand. I feel as if I learn very little each year in Spanish, because the class must continuously repeat itself, and advanced classes would really help that. What confuses me even more, is that advanced classes are a thing in elementary (For Spanish, or at least when I was in Elementary), but then at Middle School (Where things got worse), they got dropped. I really feel advanced classes would help many different people throughout the grades.

Learning is Driven by Feedback - I think this is nearly flawless. Teachers always give the chance to have feedback given to the homework. There's nothing really wrong with this one. The only thing I would say (If this applies) is that right now, and even last year, the re-dos for the test is/was very unclear.

Learning Involves Risk Taking and Making Mistakes - This one has no problems. Whenever you make a mistake teachers say "Don't worry, It's good to make Mistakes". Teachers keep repeating that, and it gets in your head, and I think they do a really good job of it.

Learning is Deepened Through Inquiry, Exploration, and Provocation - Again, like the last one, teachers keep repeating things like "Good Question!" "Any Questions?", and things like that. I only see 1 small flaw in this, which is most of the time, there are no questions. This is probably because students feel that they will look dumb if the have a question, and I think this needs to be addressed.

I hope that what I have said as somehow helped/influenced the next actions for the school.

I'm going to talk about the strengths in the next question, so for this one I will talk about the challenges.

I think the main challenge is Communication. I feel as if only few read the newsletters, tell their parents about what's happening, or even know what's going on in the school. This creates a bit of chaos and uncertainty, leading to people wearing free dress on the wrong days, and other things of the sort. Another thing about Communication would be that a lot of the time, I feel the school may not listen to what the students are feeling. A prime example would be Service Learning, which I talked about before. Lots of time the school doesn't get the general student consensus, ad because of that lots of things that the students need or want changed don't get changed. Teachers may repeat the thoughts of students to the "Higher-Ups", but I feel like a lot of the time they just ignore that.

Another weakness that is not as big as the first is the whole "Troublemaker" thing. A lot of people are rude to people, skip class, and don't do classwork, while getting barely punished. A lot of times this is because people don't say that they are getting bullied, because they don't want to be branded as a "Snitch". Other times, it's because teachers don't act. They should get punished, and not be able to walk away from bad actions untouched.

The final thing I want to touch upon is "Learning Happens in an Authentic and Meaningful Context" I think that there are plenty of things that I will not use in life, and "useless" learning will just cause stress and will waste time. I think students should be presented with the subject, and can choose to learn more. Obviously there would have to be a system involved, and of course you would need basic math, science, etc. But I think a bit choice could be there, to inspire the individuality of each student.

I see various attempts that teachers worked on to provide well - balanced education that is not particularly biased on academic or emotional intelligence. Both were equally taught. For example, various assignment during advisory that encompasses the theme of empathy and emotion and videos or documentaries that we watched were essential in Middle School as a life-long education.

There are several programs that innovated our thinking and utilized our creativity. The good example for this was service learning projects from the last year. We could have an opportunity to expand our thinking from just simply reading a text or article.

I personally hope that our school could have more programs that allow us to foster civic engagement even outside of AISL community. It might be challenging because there might be some restrictions like safety but it could give us some eye-opening experience from the services.
I believe that currently we (our grade, our middle school) are in the period of the constructing basic foundation for life-long learning. So, I believe interacting with various people is significant.

AISL's strengths are the communication and the attempts.
Even this padlet is such a great example that AISL is excellent for communication between teacher and student to enhance the inadequacy. Teachers try to share our thoughts and views to keep fixing the part we could improve on. The communication has to be fast for the response and it should take as an action also. AISL shows those action as attempts of various new assignment or projects in the educational area.

I can see most of each one active in AISL.

Vision and Mission - I 100% agree that AISL is following their vision. I, as well as various others, feel that the teachers are excellent in this area. I love the classes and the way that my teachers inspire me to be more that what I am.

Well-Rounded Education - While I do think AISL has a well rounded education, there are a few flaws. Starting with the positives, I think that they excel in having a wide range of classes that will ensure everyone has a class which matches their interests. This is really good and they are all taught at a consistent level. However, I do not think that the school pushes some students (like myself) to their limits. I would really enjoy having an 'advanced class' or some harder work to do, because I do not feel very pushed a lot of the time.

Safe Learning Environment - AISL exceeds beyond every other school I have ever been in when it comes to this. You don't have to be afraid of making an input, instead you can make mistakes without being judged. You can also try and fail in front of everyone without feeling bad. This is really good.

Individuality - This works hand in hand with what I have previously said. There is an extremely wide range of classes to be in, and there is always a class for someone. However, I do not like that the guitar class has recently been removed, but that seems more like it's because of Covid19 rather that the school's choice.

For the rest of them, I think that AISL is doing a great job and should keep it up. The previous three where mainly the ones I thought I should bring attention to.

I think that the school has been doing really well. The main challenges I think that it faces are communication and punishment. Lot's of student's don't check their emails, and don't tell their parents about things that are occurring in school, so that makes things harder. Also, a lot of teachers bluff and say that they will give detention, but they never do. This causes students to beleive that they can do anything they want without getting in trouble. These are the two challenges I think AISL faces in implementing its guiding statements effectively.

I believe that AISL's main strength is the staff. All of the teachers put in a lot of effort into making our learning good and enjoyable. They go above and beyond with what they have to teach, and who they have to teach. It is really amazing. The AI's are very helpful and do so many chores around the classroom in order for all of these things to come true, and the custodians make sure that the environment is nice and clean. This is why I think that AISL's main strength is the staff.

AIS, is doing a good job with this. The core values are being shown as a whole but some of the small and nitty gritty things are not being prioritised on. I see what AIS are doing but the school will need to delve deeper and they did this by giving this to the student council and that was a smart move by the people checking this. This include thing like well rounded education which the school is starting to do more. Yet, they can improve by giving more options in music, sports and giving more subjects to choose from to broaden the productivity of getting this done. Also by adding more options you are likely to learn more from a modern students perspective and then you'll see if you should cut down or keep adding each year. Inspiring Excellence is a diverted goal. This is very big and needs to be done step by step, with inspiring excellence the school has to be well-rounded by students getting good grades, winning waisal in sports and music. This will inspire excellence and the student will do ore to achieve th bear of excellence the school is giving. The school is already doing a bang-up job with a safe learning environment, especially doing COVID-19 where everyone is social distancing, sitting on their dots in the bleacher, sanitising the dodge and volley balls. This willall speak to the students as a safe learning environment. Individuality isn't a problem in terms that everyone has there own way of doing work and more.

For me, personally, I believe that this school is so awesome because of the diversity and the education system. We're learning stuff that some high schoolers in the US haven't even learned or heard of. I love how the school is teaching us stuff that our grade level should be learning, but also even more. This school also has so much diversity and it makes me feel like I'm not alone, and I'm not ashamed of my background like I was at my old school. I do agree with what Luiz said about students not checking their emails and it's a problem because we want every student to succeed and part of succeeding is checking emails, to make sure you have your homework done and assignments turned in. I also agree that this school is really easy on the students. So many students act up in class and don't get detention and it's really bad for the class and it disrupts the lessons. I think that if someone is bullying someone or spreading rumors about them, even though the person asked them to stop, they should honestly get suspended. If this rule is put into place, students will fear being mean to each other because they probably wouldn't like a suspension.
