Poetry can capture a moment in time in a way that other forms can't. Imo it doesn't have to rhyme. Songs can be poetry, but it depends on the lyrics. Rap can be poetry imo, because it can be very clever the way it uses metaphors, rhyme and rhythm to convey a message or emotion. Poems or lyrics can be powerful if they connect with a person in some way, make them feel seen.

Poetry explains moments ,in a hidden way. It does not have to be direct, that is when the readers make diffrerent interpretations of different things. It does not have to rhyme. Song and poetry do not differ as they can still hold the same meaning. Just because it is different does not mean it does not matter. Lyrics or Poems can be powerfull, when the reader has a connection with poetry and engages in it.

In my opinion, poetry has a message and thought behind it. Poetry doesnt have to rhyme. Rap and Songs can also be poetry, but it depends on wether the lyrics have a message and/or thought. Strong lyrics are ones that strike a person, they get the message accross efficiently and effectivley.

Poetry should be a form of written statement with meaning. I believe that poetry doesn't need to rhyme, but if it does, then it is nice. I also believe that songs and rap could be a form of poetry that is unique in its own way. Poems and lyrics could become more powerful when there is a meaning and a target audience.

Poetry has meaning and shows it the way that other stories dont. It doesnt necessarily have to rhyme. Songs can be poetry too but it depends on the lyrics and the way the artist puts it together. Rap can be poetry but again it depends on the tone and lyrics. P/L count as powerful when theres a meaning or a strong statement that makes the listener/reader truly dive into it and understand the artists flow/thought.

What make poetry poetry is the artistic way of expressing a thought, issue, or a message.

Poetry doesn't need to have rhymes, it's boundaries are only set by the words of the authors. The difference between poetry and song lyrics can be similar or very different, because song lyrics, in a way, is poetry. And poetry contains many different ways of expressing one's thoughts artistically, including singing. Rap can be poetry, although it is much more vulgar, but it still expresses a thought no matter how "rough" it may be. What makes a poem or lyrics powerful, is the authenticity of the message, and the way it is presented to the audience.

Poetry is any concentrated written word with a pattern of some kind. Whether is follows a rhythm, rhymes, or format. Songs can be poetry but poetry can't always be songs. It depends on the format and rhythm the song or rap is written to. Rap can be poetry and in my mind follows the standard version of poetry even more than songs. Rap, Poetry, Songs are only powerful if people can connect to the words. The topic relates to people and their life and they feel something because of it.

Poetry is something that can convey deep meanings and hidden emotions that maybe cannot be expressed through other art or writing forms. The difference between poetry and song lyrics is that many artists make poetry with the intent of reaching a certain audience, or with the intent of changing something, influencing someone, etc. However, with songs, the music industry is more free in that sense imo because many artists make meaningless lyrics, or ones that don't actually have a deep meaning and that is fine too, it's just not the same as poetry. Rap can be poetry because it uses different literary devices and is an interesting way of doing so. Poems and lyrics can be powerful if they can reach an audience and stay relevant and 'timeless', because we look at art through the different eras and many different centuries.

Poetry is a way for someone to express their emotions through stories, it can show what a person thinks about their surroundings and life in general. Rap is also also similar to this, as it is a way for rappers to express about their emotions to what is going on in the world

Poetry, lyrics, and rap can all be very powerful forms of literary writing because they can express human emotions in a relatable format for the audience. They capture moments, feelings, and events abstractly and artistically. The difference between song lyrics and poetry, in my opinion, would be that rhyme and rhythm are more important in songs to make them more melodic. Rap songs can definitely be poetry since rap is still a form of creative writing. Rap music can also be very powerful poetry when it focuses on topics of politics, race, and equality.

Songs can't be poetry because they are too different genres with very different structure. Yes rap can be poetry as it conveys a clear message. I don't think poems or songs have to rhyme but that can make them easier to read/listen and remember . Song lyrics can be poetry and can include the classic poetry we know of , there are songs that i know of that include poetry. Rap can also be poetry , its the same expressing / sending a message just in a different form .
