If people are poor, hungry, and being treated poorly by their government, they will revolt. People obtain power by using some kind of collateral or propaganda. Dictators will use propaganda, brainwashing, and citizens fear to stay in power. They keep people on edge so they do not question the government, just as Napoleon kept the animals working so they could focus on the windmill and not how the government was being run.

Animal farm is a very accurate representation of what happens when a current government is not meeting the requirements of the people. WHen people are dissatisfied with their current government, they will eventually overthrow the current government and replace it with a governing system that meets the needs of all of the citizens. Furthermore, the hardworking animals represent people in a community who want to see change and will mutually work toward the same goal of a impartial government that helps everyone

Things like starvation, poorness, inequality of rights and working harder than they should work without government assistance are some factors that led the people to rebel and cause a revolution.

Question B : When people give the absolute power to a single person, the probability to this person make everything to benefit only herself and want more power is huge. When a person seeks power, it is clear that that person is not suited to rule because the person will take advantage of the people and will not take care of the community.

People seek power for different reasons, some of which are commendable, others, not so much. Oftentimes, people crave power and have poor intentions; less frequently, unfortunately, people seek power to advocate for social justice and restoring economic stability. Once someone tastes power, or glimpses it, their ambitions will shift towards something that guarantees them power and control.

Mikayla Winn
I believe what causes people to rise and rebel is the fact that they want change. The more voices there are, the more people take it seriously and want to join and rebel as well. Prevailing conditions that cause revolt, for example, are when one's are being treated unfairly. In Animal Farm, when the animals were being treated unfairly on the farm and not being fed, they decided enough was enough, and that was the beginning of their revolt. The nature of power is control. The more control someone has, the more likely they are to have power against others. People obtain it by making sure that power doesn't fade. It can be used in a good way, but also in an abused way. It can be maintained by having supporters that value your power and take it seriously.
