After Japan surrendered, The allied powers had to decide how to divide Korea. Without much knowledge on Korea or its geography, the SU selected the 38th parallel as the border between the Soviet influenced North and USA influenced south. Thats a brilliant idea because of the division of the 38th parallel divides families, and the Tension between the soviet union and US is definetly not true! Furthermore, theres no way that the two Koreas may want unification, and there is no way their two major political hate each other! And there definetly isnt any insecurity in the US or the USSR of Communism spreading or the west wanting to stop the Spread of communism!
