March 16 the President of the French Republic had donated a press conference where he said that the pandemic was very serious and dangerous for everybody, he even was repeated six times that we were at war against corona virus. 
 
After his speech, French entered in lockdown during two months. For two months french had to respect a lot of rules how : go out with a mask, gloves and a certification, wash hands with hydroalcoholic gel and the distance of one metre. Most respected rules but some said that this was unnecessary.
 
May 11, French go out of lockdown and french resumed work. 
 
On this picture you can see people that was reunited in a courtyard after two months without seing each other.  We notice they respect the distance of one metre and they have mask. 
 
Today, French is always in a health crisis but also in a economic crisis.

When my father ran into the man in the photo, he recognized him immediately: they were friends at middle school.

This man told us that he had made a living thanks to his shop but then came the announcement of the lockdown. He wanted to keep his store, but he had been obliged to pay his bills with no more source of income. Two months after the beginning of the lockdown he was short of money and had to close his store. He had to give up, his dream was over. Now, he does not know what his future will be.

Unfortunately, what happened to him is not unusual. Indeed, a lot of small businesses and shops will have to close permanently. For example, around 40% of French restaurants will probably not re-open after this health crisis.

We are in a sanitary crisis where the first wave was the virus and we head towards the second wave which will be made of plastic. Indeed, gloves, masks (such as in the picture), hydroalcoholic gel bottles, packagings have been found on the streets all over the world. So, the sanitary crisis is worsening the ecological crisis in which we have already been for a long time.

In the emergency of this pandemic, the production of single-use items and packagings has been increased.

The scientists had warned us. They had said that with the current rate of fishing and ocean plastic pollution, by 2050, there will be more plastic than fishes in the oceans.

Even if it’s complicated to boycott the gloves, masks, and other safety equipments for obvious reasons, we must ensure that these wastes don’t end up in the wild. 

So, we have to protect the people and the wilderness.

Some time ago almost the whole world had locked up recently, the lockdown finished.
In this photo, we can see a mask, wich is very use to protect us and people from coronavirus. It is one of the main symbols of this health crisis. It is placed on a window to reinforce the fact of being locked up at home.
I ask "confined" people what was the hardest thing about not going out. A girl said that the hardest thing was to don't see his friends. Her father said that the hardest thing was to see the number of deaths climbing every day.
