Adopt some kind of eating plan so you have a clear picture of your goal. I also think maybe the bracelet idea will help you with the worry and negative thoughts. Get a livestrong bandz or something and wear it on your wrist. Anytime you have the negative thought, switch wrists. Set a goal of not moving the bracelet at all. That';s an easy way to keep track of negative thoughts. I did it for complaining:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tim-ferriss/no-complaint-experiment_b_5610433.html

Even though it's a pretty simple premise, I think that it will be really awesome. I also think that there's a lot of research on this topic, which will be very valuable. Yeah, I think this will be good for both general research, but also it will have a dope outcome for you.

Positive thoughts are so impossible sometimes. It's such a simple thing, but it's often hard to do. I like the simplicity of your plan. Maybe trying to find a positive quote for every day (I think there's websites that have like, a quote of the day thing for motivation) and just reflecting on these words every day might be a good way to find the positive part.
Here's a site I found, but I can imagine there's many more: http://www.dailyinspirationalquotes.in/

Also, for eating healthy, try to find healthy recipes, especially ones you can do yourself, or find ways to balance food with exercise. DO NOT stress yourself over every meal though. If you have a cookie? It's cool. Don't do it every time but don't berate yourself for having a treat once in awhile. You've got it, good luck!

Danielle, I think it's so cool that you're choosing to eat healthier and think positively. Both decisions have such an amazing impact on your mental and physical health. Just remember to not beat yourself up if you get off track one day. That would totally kill the positivity vibe. On the note of research, I'd look for articles relating to eating for your health and the effects of a positive mindset.
