This past week I encountered active learning when my friends and I had a game night. We each got to pick a game we were going to play. The meaningful learning occurred when my friend was teaching some of us the rules of a game we had never played. This week I was involved in constructive learning at work. I was learning about the reason on why a person could benefit from a CPAP. I was able to take this information and reflect on the reasonings. This can be a simple or complex goal the learner wants to achieve. 
I set a goal for myself at work this week, which was to be able to get all of my patient referrals done before i started afternoon clinic. I was able to take the intentional steps to reach my goal. I participated in cooperative learning this week when i had a project to complete at work with three of my other coworkers. We split the work up evenly and did our own research. I participated this week with authentic learning by teaching the little girl I nanny about gravity. We then went outside and watched how her toys would drop straight to the ground.
