Adopt A Tree
Today I experienced the right way on how to plant a tree. Each of the students were provided with different species of small trees. The planted tree were later geotagged with QR code and scanned GeoTrees app. Informations such as species, height and diameter and location were taken were put into the app. The growth of this plant will be monitored continously and any tree maintenance activities (watering, fertilizing and pruning) can be informed through the app.

Through Adopt a Tree Program, I got the opportunity to learn the exact way on how to plant the tree starting from the first step till the end (from digging the hole, mixed the base soil with fertilizer, put the tree into the hole, watering). Each of us was provided with different kind of species. The best thing was, we had to take care of the planted tree like our own family to ensure it grow healthy. We must take a look to our tree at least once a week to update and to know any changes. Every planted tree then was geotagged with different QR code and need to be scanned
using GeoTrees application.

Generally, all information about the tree (species, height, diameter) were taken and fill up in the apps. The monitoring of the plant will be done continuously for a month. Any activities that we did to the tree such as watering, fertilizing and pruning can be updated in the application.

I got the opportunity to plant tree in a right way. Everyone of us is compulsory to plant their own tree with different type of tree. Unfortunately, I do not know what type of my tree because En hasif also forgot the name.huhu
It also interesting because we need to scan the qr code to ensure that each of us has planted the tree. The application GeoTrees is interesting apps which student can easily update when they want to water the plants, fertilizing and pruning based on their availability.
I also learned about teamwork and cooperation between classmates in order to finish our assessment within the class time. So, this activity show that we also need to 'berbudi pada tanah'.

On this date we are given the opportunity to plant a tree by joining the Adopt a Tree Program. I was quite exhilarated as I never planted a tree before and this would be my first time doing it. I learnt that that there's a lot of different species of forest trees such as Meranti, Pelawan, Sepetir and there's a lot aspect and criteria that need to be taken care of in order for it to have a good growing rate.

Each of our tree have been geotagged with QR code and will be monitored through the GeoTrees apps. The coordinate of the tree is also provided on the apps and have been kept into the database. We can update the activities such as watering, fertilizing and pruning using the apps and. It will also include the photo update of the trees from time to time.

Lastly, here I attached the pics of my adopted tree with some info of it. Though it was quite tiring and hot on that morning, but with all the helps and guide I got from people around me. Everything is become easier. From digging the hole, put fertilizers, measuring the tree and update it in the apps, I can't do it all alone and as for that thank you.

Planting trees is likewise basic since they have the ability to retain the destructive gases. Semasa menjalankan program ADOPT A TREE ini, saya dapat melihat satu suasana yang baru yang memberikan pembelajaran dan pengajaran yang mendalam mengenai aktiviti yang dijalankan. Pertama sekali, aktiviti yang dijalankan ialah aktiviti menanam pokok oleh para pelajar. Melalui aktiviti ini, saya dapat melihat suasana kerjasama dan bertoleransi yang sangat kuat antara pelajar. Misalnya, semasa para pelajar lelaki dan perempuan bekerjasama dengan berbaris panjang untuk melakukan pengagihan pokok-pokok yang perlu dinaikkan ke atas tempat penanaman. Selain itu, sikap toleransi berlaku semasa pemilihan pokok-pokok antara para pelajar dan apabila para pelajar lelaki membantu para pelajar perempuan mengali lubang untuk menanam pokok tersebut.

Seterusnya, aktiviti Geotagging pokok yang dilakukan selepas siap sesi menanam pokok. Sesi ini dimulaikan, para pelajar perlu muat turun aplikasi GeoTree sebelum mengisi data mengenai pokok tersebut. Hal ini kerana saya telah diajar teknik untuk mengisi data-data didalam GeoTree tersebut Misalnya, data seperti nama pokok, ketinggian pokok, diameter pokok dan koordinat pokok yang ditanam perlu diisikan dalam aplikasi tersebut. Semasa sesi ini, saya dapat mengetahui jenis pokok yang ditanam oleh saya iaitu meranti sarang punai. Sejujurnya, pertama kali saya mendengar nama pokok tersebut yang dan pelbagai nama pokok yang lain seperti pelawan, sepetir, balau pasir dan sebagainya.

Selain daripada itu, program Adopt A Tree dapat memupuk semangat kerjasama dan toleransi yang kuat antara para pelajar semasa aktiviti ini dijalankan. Pada pendapat saya, melalui aktiviti ini dapat memberikan kesedaran yang tinggi untuk menjaga alam flora fauna daripada kemusnahan yang disebabkan sifat manusia itu sendiri.

After all the hardship to dig the soil by ourselves to plant the tree, students must register the tree by scanning the QR-code that has been geotagged using the GeoTrees application. Other than that, information such as the tree's species, diameter and height were put into the application. As to make sure the growth of the tree, student must do fertilizing and watering the tree. First of all, big thanks to the lecturers and team for guiding us throughout this "Adopt a Tree" program. For setup planting location , preparing the plant, planting tools, geotagging, fertilize, refreshment and etc..

4. Measure the height of tree and the diameter for the tree trunk.

Pokok-pokok ciptaan Allah s. w. t. itu pula terdiri dari berbagai jenis, ada yang berjunjung seperti kacang, yang menjalar seperti timun dan labu, serta yang menegak seperti kelapa, langsat, rambutan, durian, manggis dan lain-lain. Pokok-pokok ini berbuah dan mengeluarkan hasil sama ada untuk makanan manusia ataupun haiwan.

Allah menjadikan buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran yang berbagai-bagai jenis dan berlainan rasanya. Ada yang pokoknya sama tetapi buahnya berlainan sama ada pada rupa atau rasa. Kita bersyukur kepada Allah s. w. t. kerana negara Melaysia yang tercinta ini banyak mengeluarkan hasil tanaman. Ini adalah kurniaan Allah yang tidak ternilai, kerana semua ciptaan Allah di bumi ini menunjukkan kekuasaanNya. Islam menggalakkan kita bercucuk tanam kerana hasilnya bukan sahaja boleh dimanfaatkan oleh manusia tetapi mendapat pahala jika dimakan oleh sebarang makhluk.

Hal ini telah dinyatakan oleh Rasuliullah s. a. w. dalam satu hadis:

مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا اِلاََّ كَتَبَ اللّٰٰهُ لَهُ مِنَ اْﻻَخِرَةِ قَدْرَ مَا چَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ ذٰلِكَ الْغَرْس

Ertinya: Sesiapa yang menanam apa-apa sahaja tanaman, Allah akan memberi pahala kepadanya sama banyak dengan hasil tanamannya.

Pertanian adalah kegiatan manusia untuk menghasilkan makananan bagi kegunaan dan kehidupan manusia serta makhluk sejagat. Bidang pertanian diungkapkan dan dirakamkan oleh al-Quran seperti firman Allah yang berbunyi:

وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاء كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاء هَؤُلاء إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِ

Maksud: Dan Allah mengajar kepada Adam akan nama segala benda, dan kemudaiannya diperlihatkan kepada MalaikatNya. Lalu Allah berfirman: Sebutkanlah kepadaKu nama-nama benda itu sekiranya kamu orang yang benar. al-Baqarah, ayat 31.

Daripada ayat di atas, Allah mengajar Nabi Adam dengan nama segala benda. Maka manusia pertama itu selepas diturun oleh Allah s. w. t. ke dunia bersama isterinya Hawa, mengetahui pengetahuan teknologi dan sains pertanian sekadar permulaan pada zaman awal kehidupan manusia di muka bumi ini. Mereka diperkenalkan dengan pokok kayu di syurga, maka wujudlah pokok kayu di dunia yang memberi sumbangan bagi kesejahteraan manusia melalui sektor pertanian.

Program seperti ini perlu diperbanyakkan lagi, kerana ia membantu memberi kesedaran kepada kita sendiri tentang bagaimana cara kita untuk mengekalkan bumi hijau dan ia juga merupakan pembekal oksigen untuk kita mampu hidup dengan aman dan damai. From this program, I gained opportunity to plated my own tree from beginning till the end.

Then, I need to scan the QR code that had be geotagged by using GeoTree application. Some information need to fill in such as name,height,diameter and the coordinate of the tree. All monitoring activities which are watering, pruning and fertilizing can be updated from time to time in this application.

The Messenger of Allah PBUH said;

Selain itu, penjagaan pokok bukan senang sekiranya tiada ilmu mengenai langkah penjagaannya. Misalnya, kebiasaan waktu yang baik untuk menyiram pokok-pokok hanyalah pada waktu pagi dan petang.

As for now I just manage to visit my tree twice. The first time is on the next day we planted the tree. I did some watering and told the tree to keep growing because my marks for this subject might depends on how well it is. Haha. I actually worried when I saw that one of the tree branch started to wilt. But as I came to visit it the second time on Thursday (24/10) morning, It actually have grown some new buds on it. Alhamdulillah. It prove that it actually can grow well, though the rain and sunshine were unpredictable. I also did some pruning on the parasite grass that might stole the nutrients of the trees. I also took measurement on my tree. It height and diameter haven't change from last week.

I'll be away for a week. Hope my tree can grow well within the time I wasn't nearby. Here I attached a picture of my tree's new baby buds.

UPDATE OF ADOPT A TREE PROGRAM

Since I planted the tree a week ago, I was able to take a look at the tree for two times. During that time, I did watering and pruning to the tree. So far, the condition is good and nothing happened to the tree that could make me worried.
Not just that, I also make some measurement such as measured the height and diameter of the tree. There was no changes of the measurement and still same as the day I planted it.

I hope even I was not be able to visit the tree for a week as I'm going back to my hometown , it still can grow healthy.

For these second time, me and my friends went to visit our tree. I managed to water and pruning the tree.As for know,my tree are in good condition and grew up well even though I rarely water it, but as it rains every day, it helped me a lot for water the tree. Unfortunately, the person in charge did not put the name of the tree yet as I already texted them. It's okay, as long as the tree is healthy. I also learned that we need to always take and consistent to care the tree. 'Always do your best.what you plant now,you will harvest later'
I hope that my tree and my friends will grow up well and contribute to the ecosystem..

Title: Tree Update for 24/10/2019
Due to some circumstances, I only managed to catch up on my adopt tree on 25th October. The weather that morning more peace and calm compare last night which is raining cats and dogs.
Luckily my tree still make it to stand proudly in the middle of a puddle. Since it name is Pelawan like a fighter. Hopefully, this tree can make it till next 50 years. When I met with Pelawan, I managed to give him some fertilizer. I also met with a group of black ants coming from underground where Pelawan's roots exists. I had a bad feeling about this because this group might already established their home there. As long as they not affect my tree i think it okay but still i need to be careful. #pleasestayalivedearxD

This is the third time I went visiting the tree and the tree looks healthy. Some of the leaves were eaten by catterpillars but overall the tree condition is strong and healthy. I changed the supporting stick to a new one to support the tree better and tie it with a rope. I hope the tree grow well.

Me and my friends went to water the tree and pruning the tree at KTDI for the third time.As far I can see, my tree are in good health and growing healthy.
I hope the tree will grow in good health. There is Hadith said about planting trees is a renewable source of hasanat:-
Anas reported that the Prophet said,
" If a Muslim plants a tree or sow seeds, then a bird,or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him" (Bukhari).

During my visit to the tree few days ago after a week of mid-sem break, I found that the soil for that area is a bit drought as it haven't been raining for few days. I was quite worried if my tree would wilted as it didn't get enough water.

Fortunately, it is still alive, new buds keep growing and the height also increased. I noticed about the height increase as before this the branch that have the most leaves is just the same level as my waist. But last time that branch have been the same level as my chest. Can't properly check the height difference as my tree is too tall and I can't reach the top of it. But I guess the increase would be around 20-30cm.

Lastly, bugs keep eating my tree leaves. Trying to find a way to avoid it. Maybe my tree taste so good that even the bug can't resist it.

I had been visiting my tree for the third times to do watering and I want to see if there's any changes of the tree. Alhamdulillah, everything went well as my tree growing up healthy and so far, it is in a good conditons. I have to visit my tree at least once a week to ensure that the tree get enough nutrients like water and fertilizer. I am very happy because I get a chance to take care of my own tree as it will influence my mark in subject of Environmental Studies.

When I came back and visited my tree, I noticed that the surrounding soil isn't as good as when I planted it. It is a little but dry due to little rain so I have to give it some water.

This is my second time visiting my tree. It has grown quite disappointing because some leaves are already brown.

But, it is still growing and I will take care of it better next time so it will grow better. Hopefully, my tree will last for a long time, at least until the end of this semester

The tree that was planted around a month ago is still in good condition and have a chance to live until the end of semester. However, the some of the newly grown leaves have already started turning yellow and brown. Alhamdulillah, cuaca kini semakin baik. Tiada lagi hujan lebat yang mengakibatkan pokok2 saya dan sahabat ditelenggami air. Pada waktu ini saya berkesempatan untuk melawat pokok; spesis Pelawan yang telah ditanam hampir sebulan. Tujuan utama adalah untuk melihat perkembangan pokok yang saya tanam kerana pada awalnya bahagian pucuk pokok kelihatan kering, jadi saya ingin melihat jika ada tunas baharu yang keluar dari batang pokok. Akan tetapi, tiada tunas baharu yang keluar, jadi saya telah membuat keputusan untuk perunding pokok supaya nutrien, air dan cahaya matahari dapat difokuskan pada kawasan yang mempunyai daun- daun. Di bawah adalah gambat pokok yang terkini.

Salam bumi hijau,
Cuaca pada ketika ini cerah dan panas 'litlit' lantaran saya melawat pokok pada waktu matahari tegak di atas kepala. Mak saya pesan tengahhari panas tak elok untuk siram pokok sangat. Justeru saya tidak menyiramnya untuk waktu ini. Hal ini kerana katanya, kuatir pokok yang tengah panas terkejut bila air yang sejuk menimpa secara tiba-tiba. Perubahan suhu yang mengejut mungkin maksudnya. Saya kurang pasti betul atau tidak tapi saya ikutkan sahaja. Lagipun ramalan cuaca mengatakan malam tersebut probabiliti untuk hujan tinggi. Justeru, kali ini saya hanya melawat untuk melihat keadaan pokok serta membuang ranting-ranting yang mati. Antara perkembangan pokok saya yang memberansangkan adalah tunas baru telah muncul. Semoga ia terus gah membesar.

Alhamdulillah syukur ke hadrat Allah s.w.t cuaca berada dalam keadaan baik meskipun monsun telah tiba. Alhamdulillah, setelah seminggu pokok Pelawan ini di bawah jagaan saya, keadannya makin hari makin baik. Saya berasa sangat teruja apabila melihat beberapa pucuk muda mulai tumbuh di batang 'pokok angkat' ini. Alhamdulillah pokok meranti sarang punai saya masih hidup dengan sihat dan segar.

Pada kemaskini yang kedua, saya telah mencerita aktiviti menyiram pokok saya. Untuk kemaskini kali ini, saya akan menceritakan aktiviti membaja yang telah dilakukan sepanjang pokok saya telah ditanam.

Alhamdulillah saya telah membaja pokok saya sebanyak dua kali sepanjang ianya telah ditanam. Baja yang telah digunakan diambil di tempat penanaman pokok terlebih (lebihan baja pada hari pertama pokok ditanam).

Sebenarnya, baja boleh diminta dengan pihak Pejabat Harta Bina dengan Encik Ashid tetapi disebabkan di tapak penanaman masih terdapat baja. Saya hanya mengunakan baja tersebut.

Aktiviti membaja diselang seli dengan aktiviti menyiram pokok supaya pokok berada dalam keadaan baik. Oleh sebab itu, saya melihat perubahan kepada pokok saya iaitu diameter pokok tersebut sedikit besar.

in sha ALLAH saya akan kemaskini nilai diameter pokok tersebut pada kali ketiga.

Kemaskini keadaan pokok (Pelawan)

Setelah cuti pertengahan semester, keadaan pokok angkat saya masih baik walaupun terdapat beberapa daun telah kering. Namun pada pandangan saya, pokok ini masih tetap mampu berdiri teguh dan masih kelihatan subur.

Pada hari ini, dengan bantuan rakan, saya telah mencantas daun kering tersebut kerana bimbang akan memberi kesan kepada sistem pertumbuhannya kelak. Sebelum pulang dari lawatan ini, saya telah menyiram pokok saya terlebih dahulu disebabkan tanah di situ telah mulai kering.

Saya masih menyimpan harapan agar pokok yang saya tanam ini masih mampu bertahan untuk terus hidup agar dapat memberikan manfaat kepada semua. Oleh itu saya juga perlu memainkan peranan dalam merealisasikan impian ini dengan sentiasa memmantu perkembangan pokok ini. Akhir sekali:

Alhamdulillah setelah sebulan pokok yang diberi nama salam ditanam, ia telah tumbuh dengan jayanya. Walaupun kecil molek, tetapi ianya bukan calang calang salam. Dengan keadaan cuaca yang tidak menentu dimana panas dan hujan silih berganti, salam masih kekal utuh hidup. Akan tetapi daun-daun pada pokok salam sedikit sebanyak telah dimakan oleh serangga. Setiap 2 hari sekali saya akan dtg untuk melawat poko ini. Siraman, bajaan dan pembersihan kawasan sekitar dari rumput akan saya lakukan untuk memastikan pokok ini dapat hidup dengan sempurna.

Alhamdulillah pokok yang diberi amanah kepada saya masih lagi sihat. Tetapi tidak ada beza yang ketara berbanding sebelum cuti pertengahan semester. Daun daunnya masih lagi wujud walaupun ada yang kering.

Alhamdulillah pokok yang telah saya tanam masih lagi berdiri dengan begitu utuh sekali meskipun cuaca panas terik di pagi hari dan hujan lebat dikala petang. Saya agak risau sekiranya pokok saya akan terkejut akibat cuaca yang ekstrem ini.

PERKEMBANGAN POKOK ANGKAT #SEPETIR

Pada 11/11/2019, saya telah berkesempatan untuk melihat keadaan pokok angkat saya. Saya amat terkejut kerana seluruh daun pokok saya telah gugur dan sememangnya hanya tinggal batang seperti ranting sahaja. Walaupun begitu saya tetap menyiramnya dan mengikatnya dengan batang lain supaya pokok saya tidak tumbang. Ini kerana saya yakin dan percaya pokok angkat saya mampu berjuang hidup seperti pokok pokok yang lain.

Pada 13/11/2019, saya sekali lagi berkesempatan untuk melihat keadaan pokok saya. Alhamdulillah, syukur. Pokok saya sememangnya pokok yang boleh berjuang untuk hidup, dimana pokok saya telah tumbuh tunas daun yang baru. Saya amat gembira melihat perkembangan pokok angkat saya walaupun #sepetir hanya mengeluarkan tunas daun yang kecil sahaja. Pada 1/12/2019, saya telah melawat pokok angkat saya untuk melihat perkembangannya. Alhamdulillah, syukur kerana #sepetir telah memberikan perkembangan yang amat-amat positif dimana tunas tunas yang kecil sebelum ni telah menjadi daun yang begitu sihat. Goals : Provide a tree that can spread loves to others
A few days ago, i manage to make time to visit my beloved tree. The condition of my tree is still good eventhough it does not have alot of branch and leaves but the stem still can manage to be on top of soil. So, i make an initiative to watering my tree in order to provide nutrein to it. I hope it can grows big without any problem.

Here, I want to state that tree is one of the natural resources that needed by all of living things in thia world. For example, the important role of tree is providing oxygen for human and animals. It shows that how important of them towards us that we need to appreciate and make it can be consume forever. This activities is a very good example that we can provide to other people in order to live in a peaceful and safe world. Tree also can reduce air pollution that being made by human. So, lets us take care of our tree so that it can gives benefits to people in the future.

Alhamdulillah, pokok yang saya tanam hidup dengan sihat dan tidak terdapat perbezaan yang ketara terhadap pokok tersebut. Dari segi saiz pokok, ianya masih sama seperti sebelumnya. Tetapi, terdapat beberapa daun yang gugur dan dimakan oleh serangga. Walaubagaimanapun, saya telah menyiram dan membaja pokok tersebut seperti biasa. Kuantiti baja saya kurangkan kerana kuantiti baja yang banyak boleh menyebabkan pokok menjadi layu. Saya harap pokok angkat saya mampu berjuang seperti pokok-pokok yang lain dan dapat membesar dengan sihat.

Semalam saya telah melawat keadaan pokok meranti sarang punai. Pokok saya masih berada dalam keadaan baik dan sedang membesar. Saya telah menyiram pokok saya supaya pokok dapat membesar dengan baik. Saya harap pokok saya akan kekal hidup supaya dapat merealisasikan impian program adopt a tree.

After almost a month, Alhamdulillah my tree is progressing so good. I'm proud of it growth. Every time I pay a visit to my tree, there always will be new spurt and baby branches growing.

It means that it got all the nutrients needed to grow, although the rain is on and off these past few weeks. But I manage to water it everytime there's no rain for days.

Here I attached the latest photo of my tree. But I was a bit weird and thinking on how to reduce the parasite that keep eating my tree's leaves. I just hope that my tree will keep surviving, now and then.

We planned, but Allah's plan is better. My tree is still hanging on and standing upright than ever but little progress has shown. Each time I monitor my tree, the growth of the leaves are little or turns brown straight. This could be caused by the unsuitable condition of the environment or the land. Nonetheless, InshaAllah it will become better in the near future as this experience of planting and taking care of a tree is different than other things I have gone through. Good things take time!

Alhamdulillah, syukur ke hadrat Allah kerana pokok saya masih bertahan walaupun dengan keadaan cuaca yang tidak mengizinkan. Keadaan fizikal pokok saya masih tidak berubah sejak hari pertama ianya ditanam. Menanam pokok ini merupakan pengalaman yang tidak akan saya lupakan kerana menanam pokok memerlukan kesabaran yang tinggi dari segi penjagaannya. Ia diibaratkan seperti kita iaitu manusia jika memiliki kesabaran yang tinggi akan membuahkan hasil yang akan memberi manfaat kepada semua.

Assalamualaikum.
Saya ada membuat lawatan dalam masa 2 minggu selepas hari pertama penanaman pokok saya. Saya dapati keadaan daun pokok saya berlubang. Hal ini berkemungkinan disebabkan serangga yang memakan daun pokok saya.

Saya mengambil inisiatif untuk membeli racun serangga untuk menangani masalah serangga tersebut. Tetapi untuk sementara waktu saya hanya menyiram pokok tersebut 2 hari sekali untuk pokok tersebut kekal hidup memandangkan masa tersebut musim hujan.

Lawatan kedua saya adalah pada 2 November 2019.
Saya datang melawat pokok saya kedua adalah 2 minggu selepas pokok ini ditanam. Hal ini kerana sepanjang 2 minggu, hampir setiap petang hujan turun. Jadi pokok saya masih subur dan tak perlu dibaja. Cuma pada lawatan kedua saya datang kerana cuaca panas dan pokok saya perlu disiram. Ketinggian pokok ini juga makin meningkat tetapi ada dahan seperti telah dipatahkan. Hal ini tidak menjejaskan keadaan pokok saya.

Selepas beberapa minggu pokok saya mengalami masalah serangan serangga, saya telah membeli racun serangga untuk mencegah dari serangan serangga lagi.

Selepas seminggu saya meletakkan racun serangga, Alhamdulillah saya dapati pokok saya mengalami sedikit perubahan dengan tiada lagi masalah daun dimakan oleh serangga.

Dua minggu lepas, saya pergi melawat Pokok (Balau Pasir) saya dan Alhamdulillah pokok saya masih dalam keadaan yang stabil dan sihat walaupun ada sedikit kekuningan pada dedaun. Saya ada membuat pembajaan dan penyiraman pada pokok tetapi tidak sekerap selalu kerana memandangkan cuaca di UTM hujan yang sentiasa hujan, saya yakin pokok saya cukup dengan sumber air untuk hidup.

Pada bulan lepas, Saya dapat pokok baru untuk menggantikan pokok lama saya yang susah untuk diselamatkan lagi. Saya nak ucapkan terima kasih kepada Encik Ashid di atas kerjasama beliau untuk saya dapatkan pokok yang baru. Tiada yang lama maka tiadalah yang baru. Namun, pokok lama saya masih lagi berdiri tegak walaupun satu daun pun takde. Pokok baru yang telah ditanam masih hidup sehingga sekarang. Kalau nak kata tidak penat itu memang tipulah sebab 1 sem saya 2 kali tanam pokok tetapi penat itu sangat berbaloi setelah melihat keadaan pokok baru yang segar dan sedap mata memandang. Pada musim peralihan monsun ini, hujan di sebelah petang sering berlaku. Oleh sebab itulah pokok2 yang telah ditanam kelihatan segar. Alhamdulillah pokok masih lagi gagah berdiri sehingga hari ini. Syukur juga kepada ilahi kerana telah menurunkan hujan setiap hari. Setiap hari pokok saya tersiram dengan cukup. Walaupun saya sibuk dengan projek sarjana muda, tetapi saya tidak lupa untuk melawat pokok saya kadangkala. Pada pemerhatian saya, spesis pelawan ini senang untuk keluar tunas baharu tetapi senang juga mati jika cuaca terlalu panas.
