The opponents were very professional and worthy of debating with. I enjoyed sharing my thoughts and opinions, the opponents made clear points and effective rebuttal, even though my team lose that round, I am still proud to have debated against them. The Judge was clear with their opinions and advices, telling us what to keep and what areas to improve. In result, me snd my teammate improved significanly during the scond round!

This was our teams first debate competition joined, so I'm glad we could obtain more experience.

It was fun, and I won both matches. So I'm quite excited. Also, the judges are nice at explaining.

I am ISF 4. My partner and I waited for over 20 minutes for our opponent to arrive in Zoom. However, they still have not shown up to compete. I did not know what to do as I had never been in a debate competition before this one. The judge that was assigned to my team just informed me that we get an automatic win because the opposing team will not be coming.

The overall event was really fun, and the adjudication of my team’s matches were satisfactory. Just one thing to note: the adjudicators could talk a bit slower so that we could hear their adjudication more clearly, but that's a minor issue. I hope more events like this appear soon!

IT was really fun, I won 2 matches and the judges always clearly explained my points. My opponents were very professional and this debate taught me lots of things, such as talk with confidence and make clear points. It made me collaborate with my teammate effectively.

it lowkey made me learn how it genuinely feels to debate, sometimes the judges are biased but that’s how it is, and i love the way i have to take the challenge and convince them, all the opponents were amazing, they really fought hard and it was impressive.

Everything that happened so far today has been really fun. My oppenents were very professtional and worthy. And my teammate was very helpful as well, they helped with advice and the speech in whole. The whole experience was quite fun, but we thought the match ups were a bit unfair because we (13-14) were put against a team of 17-18, so we struggled a bit, although we did learn a lot from these experiences.

I loved how I was able to participate in this competition together with my friend especially because it allows us to be more comfortable with communicating and colllaborating with one another. Even when we dealt with hardships and challenges, overcoming them together was what strengethened our team and the best experience so far. Looking at the ways that other debaters debate was also very educational and helpful to teach myself what new techniques or skills I could adapt from their strong speeches.

As in Angelina Succar, i am extremely proud to be here , its such a phenomenal and fun experience, specially that all the judges like mister andrews who was the best and was so patient!

It is my first year joining the IPDC competition. I think it’s definitely a rewarding experience. I learnt more debating skills from feedbacks and the judges are very kind. Mr. Andrew is the nicest and kindest person in the whole IPDC.

I love how everyone showed teamwork on doing their speech and having good opponents! I also love the topic that we got since it is really interesting! The judges also gave awesome feedback so we won the next round

It was really fun! But it was so stressful! Some things went wrong! Me and val won two rounds. It was so annoying that people kept asking about the same things every time you just said it!

I think its my first time doing this with my teammate and i am really nervous but excited,and i honestly think we tried our best and won once but we don't know for the silent round, it was fun and intense. I am also really happy that we went in the quarter finals and i hope we win! Even though our team lose once, i think it's reasonable since its our first experience and we are looking forward to attend more debating competitions after!

I could have never imagined getting this far with my partner and it was truly an honorable experience. Some of the debate rounds were pretty tough and challenging for both of us, but overall this was what made everything much more fun and enjoyable for the both of us. But we do think that keeping us waiting for long times was the part that we disliked the most as we kept stressing throughout. Thank you!
