What this says about love is that if you are certain you want to be in a relationship or already in one, you need to put all your sacrifices too.

Figurative Language: "Like a river flows, Surely to the sea, Darling, so it goes, Some things are meant to be" This line is a metaphor, comparing their love to how every single source of water, either coming from rain, or a pond in a forest, or snow on a mountain, would always in up ocean, meaning they are destined to be together. "Take my hand, Take my whole life too" This line is a hyperbole and is exaggerating how much in love he is in that he is desperate to do anything she wants him to do for them to be together.
Theme Statement: Despite of how fast a relationship is, what is sacrificed for love can potentially create the perfect relationship.
