In London there is the Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

It is a large city environment, it is based on its historical heritage.

I go to London to visit my family.

Its meaningful to my family because we have family connection there and also the city's history.

Relative Location: Located at the southern tip of New York state, USA where the Hudson river meets the Atlantic Ocean. Made up of 5 boroughs, New York is the most populated city in the USA.

Tangible Features: Urban area with many high rise buildings. Cultural center for theatre, music, fashion, museums and artwork. Complex subway system and heavy road traffic. Many shops, restaurants and nighclubs. Central Park is an iconoc open space of 843 acres.

Intangible Features: Multicultural city, centre of self expression and innovation. Busy, bustling and known as 'the city that never sleeps'.

Sense of Place: first overseas trip I took alone. First time viewing live theatre. Seen as an iconic destination for many.

Went to Paris for a day trip with my family and some of my family friends. We went walking around the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower and also went on a ferry that went around the city.

Sense of Place: Holy city. Location of Temple Mount (Judaism), site of Jesus' crucifixion, Al, Aqsa Mosque (Islam). Site of conflict for past 70+ years.

Relative location: Located in south-east Queensland, approximately 78 km south of Brisbane.

Gold Coast is a city built on the South-east Queensland coastline.

It is famous for it's scenery and the beach it is built along.

Many people travel here for the surf conditions. Along with this, many famous attractions such as Movie World, SeaWorld and the Australia Zoo are within an hours drive.

I travelled here with my family when I was in year 1, and it's the furthest I have travelled from home. (sad face emoji)

My Home Country. Home town is Cagayan Valley which is my mums town, its located on the northeastern part of mainland Luzon. My dad's town is in Roxas, Isabela, located also in luzon, which is approximately 1hr 30m away from my mum's town.
