I think I can relate to not just my fellow shiftee with this feeling of isolation. I think I can empathize with them and start being a friend to then. After going through the asynchronous recollection module, I was reminded of this lesson because it taught us to not view ourselves (and the human race in general) as superior to other organisms, and instead consider us as equal to them. This can be achieved by making environmental solutions that are not solely anthropocentric, and I can contribute to this by being vocal about this advocacy and supporting other similar causes.
