The Aja settlers founded the Kingdom of Ardra in the 12th century, and by the 16th century, Ardra had a total of 200,000 inhabitants in the total state and 30,000 in the Capitol, Allada. The kingdom of Ardra had control of three major sea ports, Offra, Jaquin and Whydah. These ports played an important role in slave trade. Ardra sold around 125,000 slaves during 1640 and 1690. There is evidence from source B of the Source Analysis Test that supports my theory. Source B shows that slave traders and slave owners discussed only the prices of the slaves based on how worn out they were, just as if they were objects.
