Djibouti is a special friend to the United States because they help them with important things like keeping the area safe, making sure everything is stable, and helping people who need it. The United States has a special place called Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, where our military stays. This place has been there since 2003, and it is the only place in Africa where the United States military stays for a long time.
