He plotted to overthrow his brother with Alonso, he now wishes for a different King to be crowned so he can escape his debt to Alonso.

Makes fun of Alonso. Plots to kill his brother Alonso so he can become King. Trusts Antonio.

Washed up on the island alone. He is a drunkard and is friends with Trinculo. Agrees to kill Prospero and rule over the island. He likes the attention Caliban has given him. Tricks/drugs Caliban

Washed up alone on the island after the shipwreck but he soon reunited with his friend. He is a drunkard and friends with Stephano.

SERVANT

Controls the other spirits. He was taken captive by Sycorax. lives to serve Prospero (yet also wants liberty). No one can see him except Prospero.

Caused the storm that brought the ship down and protected the people on the boat.

He helped Prospero and Miranda escape with the proper supplies.

She has grown up on the island her whole life. Her father and Caliban are the only men she has been around before the shipwreck. Falls in love with Ferdinand. Her engagement to Ferdinand is blessed with a magical show.

SERVANT/SLAVE TO PROSPERO

He wants to kill Prospero or wants revenge against him. He believes Stephano is a god and serves him, he also tries to convince Stephano to kill Prospero. He is forced to serve Prospero and wants liberty. He helped Prospero and Miranda survive on the island when they first arrived.

Answers to the questions on the TV: Ariel shows his power in many different ways, as he is a magical spirit that aids Prospero in his control over the island. He is the cause of both the storm that brought down the ship and the protection of the people on board, he also can be undetectable by everyone other than Prospero. He doesn't use his power for either good or evil, he is currently under the control of another person and is not acting out of his desires.

Answers to the questions on the TV:

Prospero has the most accurate perspective in the story, he can see people for what they can be but can also provide trust to others. Miranda has the worst perspective, she is very ignorant and has no knowledge of the real world, she is also unaware of the selfish things her father is doing because he raised her under his ideals. Since Prospero knows of the horrible deeds people can commit he acts out of fear and is only concerned with protecting Miranda and his current state of power. Miranda acts this way because she is naive and innocent and knows nothing of the actions of other people, she has only been shown his perspective.
