I'm Cassie Moffitt and I live in Austin. I'm in the Education track. Eventually, I'd like to teach at the university level, as well as obtain my clinical DNP. Currently, I'm the clinical educator for Austin ISD Student Health Services, as well as a certified diabetes educator. In my "spare time", I like to travel, play with my two precious beasts--a yellow lab named Charlie, and a German shepherd named Dirk--read, watch movies, and take advantage of all the food and live music Austin has to offer. 

In this class, I would like to learn how to effectively determine learning needs--particularly in cases where the learner doesn't even realize their need. I would also like to learn creative instructional methods for distance learners, as that mode is becoming more and more common.
