Matt woke up the next day and found out in the morning that his father's rifle was gone. This made Matt feel worried, angry, and stupid at the same time because what will Matt's father say about his missing rifle? Will Matt's father be happy or mad about his missing rifle?

Matt lost his rifle and he thinks the Ben guy that he invited to dinner stole it.He felt woried, scared mad nervous of what his father would say and also he can not hunt and he is mad at himself and the person or people that might have stoll the rifle.

Matt found out that the man named Ben had stolen his father's gun.

He was thinking that his dad was going to kill him.

He was depressed about the gun he was so frustrated.

All because of one man that probiley just ruined his family's food.

matt was somewhat not thrilled when he found out his fathers rifle was gone.He was nervous because it was his fathers gun and his father probably would not be happy with him if he lost it.

the morning that Matt he discovered that his dad's rifle had been stolen maybe even by Ben! Know he is worried that his dad or mom is going to ground him for like ever! Then when he his dad gets back.

Matt probably is angry at himself because he just let Ben in and he thinks that Ben stole the rifle. But then also he feel sad and gross too because the rifle is gone so he cant get food except fish!

When Matt woke up in the morning he found out that his rifle was gone He felt angry and stupid. Because He shouldn't have trusted Ben because he was a stranger. He also felt worried that his father would get mad at him for letting him over for dinner.

matt lost his rifle from a fat guy named ben sleep at mtss house and ran away i think that matt is going to go look for him and now matt is probably scared i think he well get in trouble so he is probably really anger and scared at the same time so he is frustrated and now matt has to eat fish and how is he going to protect himself.

In the morning when Matt woke up he found out that his rifle that his dad gave him was gone.

Then Matt skeacted that it was ben the guy who slept in Matt's house and ate dinner with them.

How I think Matt felt sad, anrgy, sarced and also worried that this father would come home and get really mad at him.

Also I predicted that matt will go and try and find Ben because he thinks he took his rifle from his dad.

Matt discovered that his father's rifle was gone. Matt panicked and he tried to find but he could not.He discovered that the guy that came to his house took it from him while he was sleeping.He felt like he was angry at the stranger and himself because he did not watch the gun.

When matt woke up in the morning he found that his dad's gun was gone and suspected that ben had stolen it while he was sleeping.When matt found out the gun was gone he felt a prickle of fear and rage as said in the book.The reason he was mad because it was his dad's gun And the reason he was scared that ben was a criminal and maybe a murderer, so he was scared that people would get killed by his own gun.Then if ben killed people and dropped the gun he might get the blame for it.

The stranger woke up. Someone took Matt's dad's rifle was missing.

Matt became really worried and angry. Matt was thinking about his rifle missing. The door was left.

He was thinking about who could have taken the gun. The stranger was not there and was worried because he didn't know what his dad was going to say. About him letting a stranger stay over night.

Along with all of that without a gun he will only be able to get fish and will not be able to defend him self to the indians.

Matt discovered that Ben had took his fathers rifle and left the little cabin so when Matt woke up it was gone and the door was wide open Ben was nowhere in sight. This made Matt feel sad and disappointed that he didn't listen to his hunch that probaly would have helped.

Matt woke up and he inferred that stranger guy woke up and he took his dad's rifle.

Matt felt nervous and blue (sad). I think he felt nervous, because he thinks his dad will be angry at him for letting the stranger stay. I also think why is nervous, because he thinks his only protection. I think he is blue, because his only food he can eat now is fish.

Matt invited a guy named ben inside to dinner and then in the morning, his rifle was gone.

I think he feels mad at himself for falling asleep and mad at ben for taking his rifle.

I also think that he is confused on if he should go after ben or stay at the cabin. I think he is worried that how he will survive.

I don't know what will happen next. I personally feel nervous because I don't know how he will survive.

I think that an indian will come and help him

when matt woke up he found out that ben the man that came over last night took the gun that his father gave him befor he left to get matt's mom and sister.

matt feels mad because a man stoll his gun and his dad will be mad at him when he comes back.

When matt woke up ben was not there and natt wonder where he was he.

matt was looking around the room and saw that the gun was gone and matt didn't know were it is.

Matt was angry and scared because it was his dad's and he has no protection and the only things he can eat is a little cake left and fish for a houl mounth.
