The missing story behind gentrification is the pain and suffering these low income residents face. During our current period of time it's very difficult to find a new place that has good education, is safe, and has many places with lower income. When gentrification occurs this is the position you put these residents in.

I personally believe its very sad that many have experienced this or even just know someone who has gone thorough such an experience. There's many times where people of the community will try to save it and I believe it's something that should be done with a bigger crowd. It seems as media doesn't cover as often so they can hide the fact that it's happening.
