The kaleidoscope project is an online digital museum. The goal of the kaleidoscope project is to preserve the culture of Brazil against the rising amount of generalization. Myself (Andy Tsuei) and Seita Katsuki are going to each provide 30 examples of Brazilian culture organized into the 16 types of culture with 8 types each. Brazilian culture is important to survive in because Brazil has influenced many other countries’ movies, food, and theater. Brazil was selected because of its geographic influence and patchwork of Indigenous, Portuguese, and African descent. Other major significant groups include Italians, Spaniards, Germans, Lebanese, and Japanese. Currently, Brazilian culture is dying due to the shifting of generations, at which point most of the cultures in the kaleidoscope project will be dead and gone.
