El país es Costa Rica. Vivo con una familia muy simpática. En la familia, hay una madre, un padre, una chica, y un chico. Vivo en un apartamento muy amplio y bonito. Es muy nueva! En el apartamento, hay tres dormitorios, una cocina, un comedor, una sala, una oficina, y dos baños. Hay muchos muebles en el apartamento. En los dormitorios, hay unas lámparas, unas camas, unas cómodas, unos armarios, unas alfombras, y unas cortinas. En el comedor, hay una mesa y unos sillas. En la sala, hay un sofá, una televisión, y un teléfono. En la oficina, hay un escritorio, un estante de libros, dos computadoras, y dos sillas. En los baños, hay unas alfombras, unos lavamanos, unas bañeras, y unos baños. Por el desayuno, me gusta comer cereal con leche o un plato de los huevos, el tocino, y pan tostado con mantequilla. Pero la familia en Costa Rica le gusta comer gallo pinto. Por el almorza, me gusta comer la ensalada o la pizza. Pero la familia en Costa Rica le gusta comer casado. Me gusta beber jugo de naranja pero la familia en Costa Rica le gusta beber frescos. Durante el día, me gusta comprar y voy a la ciudad. Compro las comidas y la ropa en el supermercado. Voy al supermercado Megasuper, Palí, y Mas X Menos. Durante el fin de semana,  me gusta ir al bosque lluvioso. En el bosque lluvioso, me gusta observar la naturaleza. Observo los árboles, los monos, los insectos, las iguanas, las ranas, las culebras, las cataratas, las plantas, las flores, y las nubes. Me gusta observar, pescar, trepar, acampar, explorar, y caminar. Voy a la soda después de voy al bosque lluvioso. En los Estados Unidos, hay muchos teléfonos: Apple y Samsung. En Costa Rica, hay Movistar y Kolbi. Un parecido es tenemos ambos tiquismos. También, tenemos ambos las playas y los centro comerciales. Pero en Costa Rica, hay volcanes y el bosque lluvioso. En la Costa Rica, el deporte favorito es futbol. Pero en los Estados Unidos, el deporte favorito es futbol americano. Nos gusta futbol tambien. No tiene un militar en Costa Rica pero tiene un militar en los Estados Unidos. En Costa Rica, la sistema de seguridad es hecho de la cerca. Pero en los Estados Unidos, la sistema de seguridad es hecho de tecnología. En Costa Rica, las familias son grande. Viven con sus abuelos. En los Estados Unidos, no vivimos con nos abuelos. Tenemos ambos restaurantes y supermercados similar. En Costa Rica, hay dos estaciones. Pero en los Estados Unidos, hay cuatro estaciones. One similarity is that both languages have different verb forms. But in Spanish, there are more verb forms. Another similarity is that some words are very similar because of the origin. But in English, we do not have  any accents. The culture of Costa Rica is very interesting because there are many cool things in Costa Rica like the rain forest, the food, etc. I hope to learn more vocabulary and cultural topics as I continue to study the Spanish language. I loved the Spanish 1 online course. It was very fun to do. For example, I like projects like this one. I also like the layout if the notes. Especially the vocabulary and grammar videos. They helped me learn a lot. I also love attending the live classes since it was cool to be live with a teacher and other students that don't live where you live. The live class is a great opportunity to learn lots and ask questions where you can get feedback right away! The things that helped me the most in the course were the live classes, the video notes, and the vocabulary lists. As I explained earlier, the live class and the video notes are awesome! The vocabulary lists helped me remeber the vocabulary in the lesson. My teacher helped lots by giving me feedback on things I did wrong. She also replied to my questions very quickly and in timely manner. She gave me suggestions like a verb notebook and make flashcards.
